INTRODUCING....DRUM ROLL..

OUR NEW KITTY,

She is made of natural steel.  Mom saw her at Accipiter, a very eccentric shop in Cameron Village.  Mom bought Stella for herself for her birthday.

The peeps were rather surprised that I walked right up to Stella to give her the Madi seal of approval...

OMC HER WHISKERS ARE TOUGH AS NAILS
MOL
She has her tail in a permanent welcoming position
which means she knows I'm the Alpha cat in these parts
and she will not challenge me.
She only has 3 toes on each paw that look like roller skates.
I bet she is faster than greased lightning.
She has buns of steel and a face that only a
mother could love. She has a cute little round nose.
If her eyes are the windows to her soul,
trust me when I say, she is soul-less.  Mom is thinking about
going to a craft store to buy some green glass to glue in
those scary hollow sockets.

The good news is I found nothing at all disagreeable about her.
She has the Madi seal of approval...especially since she will be an
outdoor only kitty.

Hi Blogville,
PLEASED MY TO TELL YOU MY NEW GIG WILL BE TO GUARD THE FRONT DOOR WITH A STEEL PAW!
NOTHING WILL GET PASS ME.

The only care Stella needs is to be dusted of every so often
and sprayed with Rustoleum Crystal Clear...to keep her
steel 'furs' shiny.
Thanks for coming by to visit today.
Hugs
Madi

  2. Stella is purrfect, Madi! She won't eat your food, lay in your favorite spot, get your attention, and the pawparazzi was after her today. Looks like Stella is a keeper. xoxo

  3. Welcome Stella! You are going to love your new home.

Madi, she is the perfect cat sister. You won't have to worry about her taking away your sunpuddles or playing with your toys.

Stella is going to be a great guard for the front door.

  8. What a great pressie Mom chose for herself! We think Stella is beautiful (not as beautiful as you, of course). And some green jewels for her eyes would be just wonderful too.

Nice to meet you, Stella. Now you stand guard at that front door and don't let any strangers get by you.

  9. Stella is terrific! Very unusual and endearing sculpture. We laughed at the "scary hollow sockets." Let us know if your mom gets eyes for her!

  22. LMAO, good Lord that is funny but Madi, we are glad you like the new addition. Stella is quite the looker. Love the fact that she is faster than greased lightning on those three toes. Why does she have to stay outside. She might get cold or COD forbid, someone might to try to steal her. She is way to valuable to get stolen.
That sure was a great find. She is just so attractive. Take care.

  24. Gosh, Madi, that was awfully nice of you to gives Stella such a very warm welcome! It's hard to be the new kitteh on the block but I bet you made her feel right at home. And she IS super cute but, well, she looks kinda pointy. So I wouldn't try to snuggle with her if I was you.

  28. I would definitely NOT mess with Stella. I bet she will make a great watch cat and surely scare off any intruders!

Good for your mom for buying herself a birthday gift. It's always important that moms treat themselves (after all our needs are met).

  29. Hello darling Madi. SO good to meet you. I wanted to tell you and your mommy that it meant the world that you came to see me when my little one sailed away to the Bridge. I hope when a new furbaby comes to live here, you'll visit again.
