I really wanted to buy the peeps something very special for their 42nd wedding anniversary. However, I don't have any green papers, so I perused the want ads. Who knew there are no jobs for DIVAS who have no marketable skills...tsk tsk tsk!!
This is my unhappy face!!
Being a resourceful cheap girl , I looked around the homestead for something I could use as a re-gift.
I found a heart shaped dish and a candle holder with hearts on it. As you know, today is all about hearts.

I turned my sniffer on high alert as I looked for foodables for the dish. Yum I smell something delectable here but it wasn't exactly what I had in mind.

My sniffer's high alert sensor went off as I approached this
little tin pail with hearts on it. I stuck my head in to check it out.

Eureka I struck 'chocolate peppermint!! I found
dark chocolate heart shaped York peppermint patties.
The peeps love dark chocolate and they love peppermint!!
It took me a while but I was able to arrange the candy
on the heart shaped dish. When the peeps came in the kitchen,
I said................

Dad told Mom he didn't want her to cook today. I hope that doesn't mean she can't open my Fancy Feast can!! They are
going out to breakfast this morning and supper tonight.
