Monday Madi Moments

Until 2 years ago, I used to spend many hours a daydreaming under this ship on the softest blue upholster couch. Then the peeps replaced it with this leather couch...which is soft...but for some reason mom gets testy I rarely sit here.

Mom recently caught me sitting on the dresser in our guest room.  This is another rare occurrence
but quite frankly it is slippery and hard.  I have to be very
precise when I jump up here.  On this day, I went up to say
meow to the little green cat statute.
Mom doesn't mind get testy when I get up here.
The furniture has years and years and years (it belonged to my Dad's peeps) of polish on it which is probably why it is slippery.

Prayers and hugs to all who have been affected by this disease.

Happy Monday to you all,
Madi
PS Mom and I apologize for the word verification being on.  We were forced to switch to the new blogger interface in February.
We thought all out settings would be the same on the new interface but evidently they were not.  We just realized yesterday that the word verification was on.

  2. We are allowed on the leather sofa's if we are being good. Mummy has put throws on them so that they are cosy for us to snooze on. We are only allowed in the living room when the hoomans are here. Mainly because I might eat anything that is left in there hee he :)xx

  3. That leathery sofa looks so soft. Our mama lets us jump up most everywhere but like Jasmine's mom she has throws on everything so she can wash all of our furs off them when they get too furry.

I didn't notice word verification yesterday or before, it must have appeared suddenly. Good old Blogger likes to keep us on our toes.

  8. Humans have no consideration Madi. Why would they want a beautiful expensive clean leather couch when they could have kept the old knackered material one, covered in cat hair?! Makes no sense at all. Deccy x

  9. We think that leather couch is the purrfect place for you to sit and take a nap even if Mom gets a little testy. Our Mom gets testy over many things and we just ignore her which brings on the norty words.
I have never had a problem with the word verification. So it takes a few more seconds. Take care and have a great week.

  13. Got to watch those slippery surfaces Madi! One time my old cat Molly took a running jump from the bed onto a long low dresser that had just been polished, she slid down the entire length of it and right off the end. I never laughed so hard in my life....but I was laughing with her not at her :-)

  14. Madi, you have so many "perches" with so many textures!
You must be a very skilled jumper to get up on a slippery dresser without sliding off!
I can understand Mom being a little nervous about you on the leather couch with claws!
    Chin scratches to you
    Hugs to Mom

  16. Thank you for explaining why I have been running into all the word verifications! I wondered about that!

Madi--You are a walking work of art. You should absolutely display yourself wherever you wish!

  17. Funny how we have to keep all these "approved" spots straight in our heads and the humans can just go, sit, jump, step and sleep where they please!

  20. We have leather in our basement and we know for sure that if we were even allowed down there we would never be allowed to put our footsies on that leather. Maybe Mom could put a few of those beautiful afghans she crochets on the sofa to make it soft and cushy for you:)

  21. Why do Moms get testy about things? Don't they know that all things belong to US?

  23. We just helped a friend with the word verification. you have to switch BACK to OLD blogger and change it and then switch over. We heard that a lot of people's stuff got mixed up with new (stupid) blogger.

  25. OHhhhhhhhh, LOL...if you're anything like Tahoe, she jumps up on the vanity in the guest bedroom at a dead run and nearly slides off to the other side!!! It's antique, so as you pointed out Madi, it's slick and hard. Tahoe learned how to boot scoot on the vanity.

  28. You have to be careful of slippery surfaces Madi. The other day I jumped up on the writing bureau, skidded and crashed into the window. Flynn.
We have never seen word verification on your blog so blogger must have been playing games with you.

  29. Madi, we like how you keep your mom guessing by sitting in places that you don't normally sit. That's us cats way to drive the humans crazy!

  30. Hope you had a happy day sitting where ever you wanted Madi.
