F R I E N D S

Puppies,Kitties, and two leggers we had a very nice surprise
yesterday.  Our mailman, whose name is *'not Earl', came to our door with a box for us.
*(For  many years the peeps thought his name was Earl. However, when he was MIA for several weeks, Dad finally asked the substitute,  "is Earl sick"? To which the substitute replied,
"do you mean Tony"?  So now they call him 'not Earl'!!) Not to his face of course, because that would be rude.  Neither of the peeps knows how/why they thought his name was Earl but Mom says he looks more like an Earl than a Tony.

Sorry for the digression??!! I thought you'd like to know  what is not our mailman's name. MOL
Of course I have no thumbs and am not allowed to play with sharp objects. Thus I had to wait patiently while Mom opened the box.  I gave the contents a good sniff.....
and as you can see I found .....
....what was mine in a nanosecond.
I wish you could have heard, (or maybe you did) Mom squeal when she honed in on what was for her.  All natural wild rice pancake mix and a S'mores chocolate bar straight from Mini-soda.
Oh goodness me, the senders of this most wonderful box obviously know the direct route to our hearts is through our tummies!!
Mom says she just might melt Mini-soda chocolate and drizzle it over the pancakes when she makes them.....BUTT , she made it very clear that I cannot have any!! Bummer but not to worry I have a pouch full of Friskies Party Mix

I expect by now you are all sitting on the edge of your chairs/tushes
wondering just who sent this most delicious box of goodness....

It was a 'thank you package' from my tall, dark, handsome, talented,  and best looking guy in a tie friend, Remington and his Mom Beth.
Oh and did I mention that Rem left me the most delightful
SMELL MAIL? Remington buddy,

YOU ARE VERY WELCOME
and thanks for the pin up too!!
Hugs from your B(est) F(eline) F(riend) F(orever),
Madi aka Diva aka Queen

  9. Parcels are great aren't they? I am willing to bet you can pinch some of those pancakes when Mum isn't looking. Chocolate is nowhere near as good as liver paste anyway. Just substitute it - a sure way to surprise Mum & Dad. Hehe! Deccy x

  27. That package looks special. I enjoyed the "Not Earl" story. I do a similar thing, making up nicknames for people whose proper name I don't know. Some are in-jokes with my better half, but most are ones known only to me.
