Tuesday Tale: Raleigh is the first....

...City in the USA to have a 2 story Chick-Fil-A

Click here to see lots of pictures of the Grand Opening including inside.
Of course Mom took her flashy beast with her; however, she did not take in pics inside because she did not have permission from the 2 leggers inside.  However, she did take lots outside AND since you asked so politely...(MOL) she'll share the pictures with you.

I fell over in exhaustion disbelief when she insisted on telling me all about her chicken sandwich and how good it was yada yada yada
No I did not get a morsel all I had was my pink mouse.
This is a picture of the two, yes 2, drive through windows
Picture was taken on Sunday the only day they are closed and the only day she could get a picture w/o getting smashed by a car.
Every time the peeps pass by this new Chick-Fil-A
both drive through lanes are nearly out on the street.
The food for the drive through is prepared then put on a convey belts traveling up above the store to the drive through windows.
Mom loves the gigantic American Flags that wave proudly at each Chick-Fil-A
Nice view of the entire cafe from across the street.
Note the 2nd floor patio on the right side of the building
They have a huge patio on the first floor

When Mom told me there was huge Cow on the roof,
His sign says "Eat Mor Chicken"
I asked her exactly what it was she was drinking that day...

And politely suggested she take a chill pill..after all who in their right mind would see a cow on top of a building?
Speaking of seeing...do you see the spots on our back door?
Mom should spend more time cleaning the windows and less time behind the flashy beast!!

  1. A two story Chick-Fil-La!?! Our Mommy nearly passed out. We too, haf only HEARD how good their chick-hen is! There is nefur any leftofurs when Mom visits the one in Arkansas that is closest to us. And Mom says the drive-thru (single) is always swamped. Why would anybody go to a drive-thru that is full of swamp water? Hoomans! We luf that pic of you wif your pink mousie, Madi. Yours very truly - Prancer Pie

  2. Madi, you didn't get any??? What is up with that. Mommy can't believe there is such a big one there. Wowza and you should see my house. There are like a million things Mommies could be doing other than torturing us with the flashy beast.

  5. Two stories? Wow! When we saw the first photo we thought it was a mall entrance, that is one big Chick-Fil-La! Madi, we feel your pain about not getting any chicken. Those Chick-Fil-La places are no where to be found in our part of the country. Mommy remembers them from GA and said she could almost taste that delicious chicken.

  10. this is an amazing building, really cool and i loved your story. i did look at the link with the pics. we had the honor a couple of years ago of having the first chic-fi-la free standing building built here. it was the test to see if they did good not in a mall. evidently the test worked, and yours is so much fancier than ours. i have matching spots on my back door, so maybe i need to stop with my flashy beast.

  11. That is a huge Chick Fil La. We don't have any around here so I am not familiar with why you would ever need a two story fast food joint. I love seeing you playing with your mouse and I'm glad he is holding up nicely for you.

  15. Madi, I just envy your new Chik-Fil-A!! They are only just
starting to come out west! Absolutely LOVED the one in FL
2 years ago. But they didn't have a 2 story with 2 drive through
windows!! Raleigh must be the First in that!
    Not even a nibble?!
Well, I can understand, their chicken is good your peeps would want
    to eat the WHOLE thing!
    Soft tummy rubs to you
Hugs to Mom for the pics!

  21. We have a couple of Chick Fil A restaurants here, but no two story ones. the little bipeds love going there but they are all getting too big for the play area. We think they might need to add a second story with bigger equipment.

A cow on the roof - hmmmmm, better check Mom's teacup and see what kind of leaves she is using, Madi. BOl

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
