Saturday Photo Hunt and Vet Trip

Mom and I are participating in Saturday Photo Hunt today
Click here to view the list and join in on the fun...

TODAY'S WORD IS
JOKESTER
As in, Mom you are such a
JOKESTER
telling me you are taking me to the
Blogville Olympics...when in fact you took me to the
Vet for my Senior Well Cat check up
Kitties, puppies and 2 leggers I'm happy to report I passed my check up with flying colors.  Note my pleased a punch exit
from my PTU.

FYI:  That little speck you see on the towel is
some N A S  T Y low calorie cat treat my vet gave me.
Madi and low calorie should not be used in the same sentence.
HE IS SUCH A
JOKESTER

Yep the dreaded "D" word was mentioned; however, I don't know why.  Last year I weighed 11.2 lbs, this year I weight 11.4 lbs.
Unreliable sources told Mom I should be getting only a total of 1/2 cup of kibble a day...I'm getting 2/3 cups.
I heard Mom say, I can reduce her Kibble...I'll let you know how that goes.  Mom might  be bigger but I can YOWL louder.

Yes, I'm disgusted...they put something wet on my chest then
stole my precious Diva blood...see my furs are still wet

I hope and purr it doesn't take me 87 days to groom away the
stench from the Vets office.
Note from Mom:  I took about  20 consecutive pictures of Madi grooming her chest

All I can say is thank goodness today's Blogville Events including swimming.
I just might have to take a quick dip in the pool to get clean

  3. Even though mom tricked you and took you to the vet it is good to hear that all is well. I wouldn't worry about a mere .2 pound. If it wasn't a problem last year why is it such a big deal this year?

  4. So glad the dreaded V-E-T visit went off without a hitch. Diet is a four-letter word! The only "D" word we like is "DIVA"! Like you, sweet Madi. Hope those nasty vet smells wash off soon. Soothing purrs from me to you. ((Hugs)) from your favorite mancat, Prancer Pie.

  5. Aw Madi, you have our deepest sympathy on the VET visit. We are glad you are healthy. So what is this big deal about .2 lbs? That's just tiny bit more of your divaness to love.

PS, the last time we were at the VET's office it took us almost 86 days to get rid of the stench. Just sayin'

  9. Yikes, that was not a nice prank the Mom played on you Madi. We are so excited that you came though with flying colors though. That stuff they put on you for the theft of your bloods is horrible. We hate that. We think you look just dandy. No need for a diet. Have a great day.

I can NOT believe that she is planning to STARVE you in this way. Do you need fur us to SEND KIBBLE??? We WILL, you know. You just say the WORD and we will come to your rescue.

  15. poorrrrrrrrrrrrr Madi, I do so hate vet visits, as much as you do. and you are right about the stench, it gets on dogs to and on our shoes from walking in the office. glad you passed with flying colors and tell Mom you look great and that i told you so. also mention to Mom, you might need a tiny little bit bigger carry case? or is that the reason for the D word

  16. So glad to hear thee vet visit went well. I dont think you need the word at all cause your just right. I also have the dreaded vet visit on Tuesday and it stresses me so much because I have to stay half a day while they steal my bloods and do the blood pressure etc. I am sure you will soon have your furrs back spick and span... Hugs GJ xx

  17. aaiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
That "D" thang is happening here Madi, and it ain't good! We only get ten cans of food a day, plus one and one half measly cup of kibble in the evening. Mommy is awful.
We are SO happy your check up was good, although we think your Mom needs some demerits.

  18. Oh Madi, so sorry for your vet visit. I know it is so not fun! And you do look so disgusted! Tell your mom that I don't think your weight is all that bad. My Kramer weighs in around 22 pounds!

  21. Madi, my sweet pal, I am so sorry you had to endure that, but also very glad that all is well with you. Now lets talk about the D word, Madi you most certainly do not have to worry about such things. You are beautiful and svelte and a credit to your family. Tell Mommy to stop that nonsense talk and get real. If that doesn't work, I will be sending emergency treats ASAP. I will mark the package "healthy treats for Madi" " only Madi can open this", that should do it. Let me know girl, I will be on it.

  24. Not the vet!! Oh that's awful! I promise to sneak you a few treats when your mom isn't looking. I've got my own private stash of fancy feast for special occasions. Say the word and it's yours ...well, I might have a bite or two.

    Your pal, Pip

  25. Poor Madi, I had my 6 month vampire session on Thursday.
I put my new bag in my lap for Mean Nurse Sharon to read.
It says "I can go from zero to WITCH in 2 seconds.

She only had to stick me once this time, but she did have to wallow the needle around cause she said my vein rolled away from her.....
