Tuesday Tale

Happy Tuesday.
Today I'd like to discuss a very serious
set of circumstances:  2 leggers who change their routine
Just the other day I was heading up to the
red room for my afternoon sun puddles snooze
(below picture taken before the serious set of circumstances)

Lo and behold there was Mom sitting in the red room.
She never does that in the afternoon...plus she should have been slaving over my blog!!
Of course being a tad peeved curious cat I had to investigate.
OMC this is serious she has a book, her iPad and a bottle of
water.  It appears she is here for the long haul.

There was no way I was going to do any sun puddle dreaming
so I decided I'd just read over her shoulder but even that
didn't make her leave.
Good news is I found out the back of this chair is pretty darn comfy.  Yes sir're Bob*  I'll be taking more naps from here.
*(no clue who Bob is but Mom says it all the time)

  1. Madi, did you catch up on your reading, over Mom's shoulders that is?! :)
It's just too darn hot for her go outside on the patio to read and listen to the birds!
She would melt and then who would feed you?!
Some times changes in routine are good!

  2. Hee-hee, at least you got a new comfy snoozin spot out of the change, Madi. We don't know who Bob is either, but our Mom tells him "yes" all the time, too! MOL! Happy Tuesday and we hopes you find lots of new and cool snoozin spot this summer. **headbumpies ** from your favorite mancat, Prancer Pie.

  4. Sorry Madi but hoomans are known to change their routines at the drop of a hat (or when it's really hot outside). We just have to rise to the occasion like the superior beings we are and adapt. Of course it looks like you have adapted well to that cushy chair back.

PS, our friendly neighborhood stray, by the name of Bob, says he has no idea what that means either.

Howevers I can imagine da trauma you was goin' through when your mom changed schedules on you withs no warning...they act like they can do what they want, when they want. But truth be told, it should be all bouts our schedules.

We has a room we call da Blue Room.

  11. You need to tend to that breach of scheduling. We've learneded the hard way if you don't keep a firm paw on your hoomans they get all squirrel poop crazy and think they can do anything.

  12. Gosh I sure know what you mean about routines! My Mom is home this entire week! Now don't get me wrong, I am enjoying that, but I am not getting my beauty rest that I need with her around!

  13. How dare they interrupt your routine? On the other hand, you found another great place to park.

  14. Oh My COD Madi. I can't believe that peep did that to you. Glad you were able to read over her shoulder. Was it a good book?? Our person doesn't change her schedule too often except to go in that room with that Baby Doll who is so anti social, we aren't allowed in there.
Maybe you could sneak in a little nap.
Happy Fourth to all of you.
