C(at)S(niff)I(vestigator): MADI

Recently I heard mom bellow what in the world is this

I immediately knew my CSI experience was needed and I was happy to oblige.
Upon my initial CSI, I quickly determined it was not
edible, in fact it had no distinct aroma
Mom decided it would be a good idea if I carried it around a while
to see if possibly it could be used for her my amusement.
I quickly shook off that idea; however,

I thought maybe I'd give it just one more
CSI.  After asking Mom a few important questions,
I knew exactly what it was.......
are you ready?

A Free Cutex Cotton Ball Holder for Easier Nail polish removal
The cotton ball fits in the little dome.  That way if you need to touch up a finger nail with remover
you can keep the other nails from getting messed up
Oh and it had a very important PSA on it
Cooking Hazard, keep out of reach of children
Mom said Madi it is rubber who would even think to cook with it?
So things like this make by days, weeks and months very interesting

  1. It looks very whappable, Madi. Mebbe it would slide across the hardwood floor easily. We thought it was a little hat! MOL! Great CSI skills, Madi. What would Mom do without you? ((Hugs)) from your bestest mancat - Prancer Pie.

  2. Nice work Madi. Are you sure it didn't say "Choking Hazard"? If not I'm sure it was a real bad misprint.

  4. Madi, nice work, I was totally confused. I thought it was a tiny mouse hat and I got scared, but I know that no mice would come around your house. Good job.

  5. Well neither I nor the tall guy have ever seen one of those. Of course, we just let our fingernail polish wear off instead of using the remover :)

  6. I thought it was a small hat belonging to a doll! Haaaa!
    Happy Wednesday!

  8. Sorry, Deccy's comment caught me off guard....hehehehe, he's so funny.
Now I was totally lost at what dat could be. I too thought it was a little hat fur some sort of rodent.
If it is any consolation to your mom...I was amused as well.

And da kerazy lady thinks dat is a brilliant little invention...she would cuz she's weird.

  14. For small touch ups our mom uses Q-tips... why make a little rubber holder thingy when 500 Q-tips are a dime a gross? Humans are weird.

  19. That is a very silly thing. I was sure it was a rubber kind of toy that pops up in the air when you flip it inside out. I was hoping for a picture of you in mid-air with your claws and fangs out! Oh well, maybe next time.

    Love,

  25. At first glance, I thought it might be a big binkie for a cat!! (Trudy says that - not me!)

Somebody should have come up with this years ago - when I actually took good care of my nails.

  26. I haven't seen one of those.

We were listening to talk radio and it made me furious the government is trying to close buckyballs because they have been swallowed. what made us made is that 99% of the products on earth carry warnings.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hello LLS! Thank you for clearing that up for me! At first I thought it was a cute red hat for you to wear on your pretty head.

    Laila, your long lost sister

  28. I agree with Douglas....it would make a great hat!

  29. And here we thought you were going to be made an honorary firegal:)

  30. The human thought it would make a great hat fer ya, but she knew it wouldn't stay on. She sez all the warnings are needed on stuff becuz humans are dumb. Well, we certainly agree!

    1. Hector, word press will not let us comment on your blog...this is
      what we tried to say:

Hi Hector OMDs we are so glad you made your human update your blog…we have missed you. I guess you thought the little red thing on my blog was a fireman\’s hat to go with Mom\’s Fire Engine Red Car. MOL
That crazy thing in the cotton ball bag was just weird. Mom doesn\’t paint her paw nails only her toenails so she\’ll never have a need for it…I\’m hoping she\’ll give it to me to toss about.
      Hugs madi your Southern friend

  37. Mystery solved!
Glogirly doesn't think her cotton balls need funny hats. ...I'd rather the cotton balls have to wear them than ME!

  38. CSI Madi, you are an expert at solving mysteries.
We have to agree with Katie and Glogirly, cotton balls don't need hats. Next thing you know they would be wanting matching shoes. MOL!
