When the Cows come home....#1

OMCs(Oh my Cows) someone let some purrty snazzy cows loose in our city.  When Mom
told me all about the project, I got so excited I I told Mom I was going to turn on my lasers.

Mom has been udderly utterly amazed by the creativity of the artists involved in this project.
The will be on display for about a month then each and every one will be auctioned off to raise money for the UNC Children's Hospital.
This is Ciao Bella Uno

Mom hopes to show you as many as she can find.

  1. Those are great! We have horses like that in my town. But they get put away each year and brought out again in July. They stay until the end of September. I like what your city does better.

  4. They are fantastic aren't they Madi mate? Need photos of you sitting on them though! In Mum's home city there is a fantastic bronze bull statue in the city centre, but it's not nearly as pretty as your cows! Deccy x

  14. What a great idea to raise money. So Madi, are you going to have one of those cows in your house. Might be something nice to nap on. Looks like a lot of fun having the cows around. At least get one for the yard. Take care.

  20. In our city, it was Pigs!!! Big huge pigs painted creatively and artistically like that. They were the pigs of seattle. A few years ago, they sold them off to raise money for the children's hospital or something. I think there were like... 12 pigs alltogether. Now you might find one in the oddest places. I found one in an old time red and white striped barber shop with this giant blue pig to greet customers.

  21. Mom says they do this in Kansas City at The Plaza. The cows are so unique and colorful and amazingly well decorated. We have had Bunnies too - at Easter time.

How wonderful that the money raised will go to such a great cause.

  29. Madi what a rad cow and such a unique way to raise money for the hospital. Like some of the others Mom only thought that these works of art were done with ceramic horses as this was the type she saw in New York when she went to Saratoga.
