Grandma update: Thursday was a fair day for her. She had her first PT yep 12 hours after surgery hip replacement. That is just how they do it. It was painful and left her a bit
aggravated (and rightly so) for the remainder of the day.
Mom and I thank each and everyone for your kind comments and emails. We hope to get back to commenting soon.
Mom prepares my blog posts about a week ahead so we are just adding updates.
Tomorrow is a new day with new hope....and a good way to celebrate

Mom and Dad were visiting their very good friends the first two days of their trip

Yogi. Mom says when he looks at you it is like he can see into your soul. Yogi just turned 10.

Mom and Dad took a hike in Dupont State Park
which is in Brevard, NC the home of a ton of waterfalls
This most beautiful water fall is named High Falls
I am happy to say Mom realized she didn't leave her heart in the mountains. When she got home, she found out her
heart was really at home with me. This box was in the
foyer 2 seconds when I hopped on it...Mom said

MOL she told me she brought both boxes back especially for me but after a quick sniff I knew she was fibbing me.
The big box contains a most Beautiful Hot Air Balloon
that will be hung over our stair case (but not by my Dad
he isn't allowed on ladders). Once it is hung I'll show it to you
This Beautiful Biltmore box contained
three bottles of Biltmore wine.
I see beauty in every single photo. Mostly I see beautiful you! Keeping Grandma in our prayers and wishing her a beautiful day.

Hi sweet Madi, I am crossing paws for Grandma and hope she is doing better. Mommy is saying a prayer. The pictures are beautious and Mommy loves the little Corgi. Yours are the best of course, you look very interested in that wine. I was just visiting my sweet Remington and I noticed that Mr. Ripley has his eyes on you. What a sweet couple you two would be. We could double date.

get mom to take pics when you try the wine... MOL.. LOL...BOL... beautiful pics and i know mom missed you lots. cameras make us SEE beautiful everywhere we go. my son has a corgi female and a Chihuahua male, 8 years ago they had babies that are Chi-Corgies... oh my are they cute.

We have a big picture of the Mom falling in the pond taking a picture of the flowers. Now that would have been a great picture. Take care and lots of purrs to the Mom.

Oh Madi, what a beautiful bunch of pictures today. WE love See Beautiful Fridays. Glad your Grandma is doing ok.....My Vickies mom just had a knee replacement and she said it is pretty painful when they make you get up and walk so soon after surgery. wE will be sending healing thougths to your grandma.

ReplyDeleteOur Mama is going gaga over High Falls. It has been many years since she was there but she remembers it well. (We thinks going gaga over water is weird.)
