MOM IS*

MOM AND I LOVE HER iPAD we play WWF every morning.

Last summer my most talented brother in law,
MR. G, MADE MOM A STYLUS TO USE WITH HER iPad.  It is quite handy, the thing-a-ma-jig on the left fits into the earphone port for safe keeping.
and black rubber tip keeps Mom from poking a hole in the screen, (mom is *heavy handed), which everyone in the family knows.  When Mr. G
gave it to her he told her the rubber tip could be replace if need be but to remember she did not
NEED to press hard.
Well I'm here to tell you since Mom rec'd the stylus she has had to have 2 retreads on the rubber tip.
MOL MOL MOL

Below is a picture of the piece of equipment Mr.
G uses to retread Mom's stylus.  He had to bring it with him at Christmas.
He wised up this time he gave her a rubber tip with that can be screwed on and off and an extra tip.
We are taking bets on how long retread #3 will last.
MOL MOL MOL
Oh and my Sis says you should never let Mom wash your furs 'cause she will rub your head so hard you will not have any furs left.

  1. My MOM also plays WWF on her phone. So with such a heavy hand do you let her pet you?

  2. That Mr. G is very talented. What a snazzi stylus your mom has and he gives free re-treads. Mine is just an industrial type one in black metal. I like that it sticks into the earphone jack for safe keeping.

  3. Heavy-handed, huh? We think we won't be taking that bet! MOL! Bet her head-rubs and chin-scritches are great, Madi. Hope you have a great Thursday. Nosetaps from your favorite mancat, Prancer Pie.

  4. Woof! Woof! Mom promised she would not play any games on her iPad ... so far she kept that promised. When its play time, its with ME. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  5. Hmmm, we think that Human Granny could give your Mom a run for her money in the heavy handedness stakes Madi. She attached that computer mouse more ferociously than a terrier would a live one....

    1. Meant to say 'attacked' not 'attached' of course. Amazing how one (heavy handed?) slip of the finger on the keyboard can change meaning so radially!

  6. Madi, tell your mommy to get CAT GAMES for you. It's free APPS !
    It's super fun !!!
But make sure your mommy get screen protector before you play. you will love it, Miss Madi

  7. We are thinking that if your mom tried to give you a bath Madi she would only have about two seconds to rub your head. After that you would be halfway across the house and your mom would be soaking wet.
That is one fine looking stylus. Mr. G does excellent work.

  8. NOOOOOO don't mention the dreaded bath only topped by the even worse random soaking. Madi we know you would never let it happen to your furs. Have a terrific Thursday.
    Best wishes Molly

  9. Madi... you're right. That comment yesterday was a big mess. Knuckles was trying to comment on a few blogs using HH's phone. That auto correct is a crazy feature. Anyhhhhhhhooooooo. We especially wanted to say that we're glad your granpa is home... Yea! And since you said you hadn't been around much, I wanted to make sure you knew about the 30 Paintings in 30 Days challenge HH is doing. She's painting 30 cats in January. If you want to be one of them, send a jpg of yourself (something close so she can see your eyes and stuff) to my email at Maxthequiltcat AT gmail DOT com. No obligation to buy the painting after, but you'll get first refusal. Have a great day. Sorry about the mixed up comment.

  11. It does sound like the Mom is a little heavy handed since she has had to have two new tips already. What does she do, stab the screen?? Too funny. That IPod does look like and we certainly hope she gets that cat game for you Madi. Take care.

  13. That is just wonderful ~ A pusher type thingie tappie that you use on your ipad or smart phone! And Mr. G makes them himself? Bet that saves your Mom a lot of green stuff. We have two of them but have never been able to find the kind that stick in the device so you don't lose it. Your Mom is one lucky human to have that!

    Hugs,
    Lily Belle & Muffin

p.s. Mommy and Daddy love playing WWF on their phones too.

  17. Glad that you are aware of your mom's Heavy Hand and take corrective measures. Would not want the NEW MAYORESS of Blogville to need to wear a WIG.

THAT is one really spiffy stylus thingy. Does your uncle market them?

SO glad that you like the new "Relief Station" I had installed in the OFFICE fur you.

  18. Oh my....now that reminds me, I've been looking for something just like this, only for Bud's Smartphone, his fingers are so large, he has a helluva time clicking the keyboard! I'll raise your kibbles and bits one bag that the retread will last only a couple months!!

  20. thanks for my second chuckle of the day, my first came from Remington's post today. if i had and ipad and a stylus mine would be just like mom's is. my keyboard on my laptop had to be replaced, the whole keyboard, it was only 14 months old. and on my keyboard to the desk top, wireless keyboard number 2 in 2 years, and 5 of the letters are worn off. hubby has to guess which letter he is hitting, he can't touch type, he is the one finger SEE type

  21. We gave Grandma a little stylus to use with her iPhone this Christmas, because the screen is too small for her fingers!

  26. Hello Madi (or should I say "Your Honor"). I heard from Susie and Bites that you are going to be our new Mayor of Blogville and that your Inauguration and Mayor Ball is Sat. I just wanted to let you know that I'll be coming and as Junior Police Officer, I'll be on your security detail with Officer Bites. I've been blogging all about it.
    Can't wait to meet you.

  27. can you "catnapping" that Mr. G. and send it to me for a while? Think we need such a Mr. G. here, or all "technical marvels" in my crib are in danger, because mom preferred the destroying-by doing-way"" :o) Have a wonderful Thursday

  28. BOL - that's so funny! Make sure you don't let her give you any massages either!

    I love WWF too!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hee hee. It sure sounds like your Mom gets pretty frustrated playing on her iPad! Careful she isn't holding the stylus when she gives you a head rub! :)

  30. Oooh, does your Moms do Swedish massage, too?? I bets she could make lots of green papers doin' that!

  35. PS....this is so ironic...Bud and I went to a computer store, and they also sell smartphones [I think there is absolutely NO place that doesn't these days] -- anyway, while you were leaving a comment re: stylus, Bud found one and is testing it out right now. Thanks "Mom"
