PIP AND PUDDLES Bucket Tour: NORTH CAROLINA

I was tickled pink when Pip and Puddles approved my request to stop in North Carolina on

I must admit...this bucket tour is supposed to be about places Pip

wanted to go; however, being a Bossy Mayor I told him he

had to stop in NC.  Thankfully he agreed

Mr. Pip you have been feeling poorly of late...but you have not let it keep you from working on your bucket list.

I can hardly wait until the Valentine Ball when we 

can dance the night away.

DAY ONE

 I sat at the top of my steps with savory salmon breath 

eagerly praying awaiting their safe arrival...Puddles was driving?!

 Lo and behold and in spite of all the Cheetos and beer,

they some how made it to my house.  Puddles was looking a 

little dazed but Pip was none the worse from the trip...

Thankfully he was wearing his lucky red sweater..kitty sighs

while Puddles went to a local spa for a mani-pedi and a mud bath, 
I took Pip on  a 2 day whirl wind trip around NC

Mom was the Designated Driver of this vintage

We arrived in the beautiful NC Smoky Mountains

just as the fog was lifting.

We shared a delicious

 healthy turkey sandwich a plum and peach before

 our hot air balloon ride over the mountains

Pip was thoroughly enjoying the gentle breeze when all of a sudden

He BOL Madi look a Squirrel....where in the 

heck is Puddles when you need her?

DAY TWO

 I waited in my condo for Pip to get his beauty sleep wake up

Finally I climbed on the back of the chair where Pip was sleeping

I told him if he didn't get up pronto I was going to jump on his head

Since today was Pip's last day we decided to stay close to home 

Mom packed us each a brown bag for lunch.  As we headed 

Leadmine Lake for a leisurely lunch,

We could not believe our eyes when

 saw the Bucket Tour Car parked on top of a building

but Puddles was no where in sight....

Pip said she was probably napping in the back seat

As the sunset on another beautiful day

 I prepared dinner for Pip

Pip dressed for dinner and sipped on

 Some bubbly and enjoyed some nibbles

 all of a sudden there was a frantic knock at the door

Lo and behold there was Puddles incognito,

parking on roofs is a not allowed in Raleigh and 

she was a wanted woman.  She told Pip that had to 

leave pronto.  I had just enough time to 

give Pip this heart shaped leaf with a very special message

and quietly watched as Puddles peeled rubber backed out of my driveway as they headed to the best burger and beer

joint in Raleigh.......

 Not only do they have delish burgers on toasted sesame seed buns,  they also have a huge selection of

beers.  They have beer bottles and cases stacked up all around the cafe. Don't worry about Puddles drinking and driving 

I reserved the a room at the hotel next door

All kidding aside Puddles you might be vertically challenged, drink too much beer and your breath smells like a Cheetos factory, and you cannot drive worth a flip.......but you are one
