THE GREAT DRAWER.....

CAPER
(Warning: go potty, get some coffee and
have a seat)
Oh my cats I spy something odd it is time to call in
my alter ego
Cat Sleuth Investigator:  CSI
Mom never, ever, no never leaves drawers open when I'm around
I need to do a thorough investigation...once I figure out how to
get there.
Oh that area is too small for me.

So I'll just have to jump up lickety split.  Yep I went from the
floor past the open drawer

Right to the top of the chest of drawers....
and the call me a Senior Cat...

Now to get down to some serious
CSI what is in this drawer

Word of advice when on CSI duty do not
eat a large meal....spaces might be tight

Whew that was tight I think I'll rest
Upon closer inspection I see there is...
Shhhhhh I think I see something hiding under the sheets
Nope nothing in here except sheets and boy are they soft
Well that was fun and believe it or not I've never been in this drawer.  MOL
See ya later Spring..thanks for being my CSI assistant

Time to get the kinks out of my body and take a nap!!
Mom took 40 pictures of this caper...yep she needs to get a life.
Thanks for stopping by today we always enjoy your company
Hugs Madi and Mom

  1. Mom says you and our sister cat Simone would get on very well - she is a CSI too & loves squeezing into cupboards & drawers.

  2. You are a VERY good CSI. I thought there might me a squirrel hiding in there. I hear they do that. Good thing for the squirrel it was not there.

  3. You sure are agile for a so called senior kitty. I think your mom should leave that drawer open for you to nap in all the time. Just as long as she doesn't close it while you are in there ;-)

  5. Ohhhh....that looked so nice and comfy, especially with all those soft sheets! Do you think you'll be back in there for a nap?

  6. Hey Madi, you made that jump look so easy. Are you sure you are a senior and not a kitten? That drawer so very interesting and soft. We might have taken our nap in there. Mama doesn't leave drawers open too often but Georgia and Adam have been exploring some cabinets. Mama said something the other day about kitten-proofing the doors. Does that mean they can get in easier?

  17. Oh that looked like such fun to explore that drawer. We love to do that too but it isn't often that there is a drawer open plus the Person's drawers are so full(MOL) that it is too hard to get in them. Our Mom is so strange. She is sitting laughing at herself. Have a great day.

  18. Madi, tell Mom she is my kind of photographer, the more photos the better and these made me laugh and laugh.. you are quite the investigator. also congrats on leaping that high, i can barely walk up steps... Jake can't leap up, but if i leave a cabinet open, or a bottom drawer, his head goes in it immediately...we think he is part cat. the good thing is he will not fit in a drawer of any kind. loved this post, one of my most favorites

Good sleuthing, Madi! Gosh, I think next time your human ought to hide something delicious in there - you need a snack after all that hard work!
