Meet My Cabinet: Ruby

We are thrilled to be featuring 

RUBY the Airedale aka

Squirrel Control Officer

OMDs RUBY IS LOOKING SUPER too cool for school in her FASHIONABLE 

SQUIRREL CONTROL HAT AND SHADES.   

1.Please introduce yourself and tell us your age and very special trait

Furst, I would like the thank the honorable Mayor Diva Madi. It is a honor and privilege to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor, and I hope to do you proud.

Anyhu, my name is Ruby. I am a 4 year old Airedale Terrorist ~ um, Terrier, and I do have a very special trait....deadin' evil tree rats (aka: squirrels)!  Oh, puppers and kittehs, this is my favorite past time! I can sniff out a tree rat from 50 yards away, and I will not stop chasin' til it is gone, one way or another! BOL

2. If you had an altr ego who would you like to be?

If I had an alter ego, I guess it would be the Terminator.  Now, I love Arnie's Terminator as much as the next guy, butts I relate more to the Robert Patrick Terminator cause he was FAST!  And, deadin' those tree rats takes lots of speed!

3.  What do you like best/least about where you live?

I loves livin' here in sunny California ~ you really can't beat the weather. I think that is the best thing. Butts I also miss the snow! See, I was born in the great state of Wisconsin, and I remember the lovely white stuffs, and I have dreams of doin' zoomies in it all the time!

4.  Who are some peeps/furiends you would like to meet and why?

Oh, there are so many furends I would love to meet in the furs! It would be too hard to choose! (thou, Puddles and I would have a BALL togethers!! BOL)

5. If you could give one piece of advice what would it be?

Don't pee on your balls.

6. What do you do for fun?

Now, any furend that knows me, knows I LOVES bubbles!!  Oh, furends, it is my favorite pastime. I make Ma turn on my bubble machine at least twice a day, sometimes more! I also love balls. Any kinds. (okay Floyd, gets your mind out of the gutter, dude!)

7.  What is the first thing you do each morning?

I shake and stretch and pee.

8.  What is the first thing you notice about a new friend?

I notice a furends scent. Are they flowery, spicy, musky, or do they smell like bullies?!  I likes the last ones the best! hehehe

9.  Tell us how you came to live in your family and how you got your name?

Oh, Ma couldn't find any Airedales in California. She tried to find rescues, litters, etc. ~ nothin' on the west coast at all. So she found a great Breeder in Wisconsin. Ma was so impressed with the Breeder, that she put in her request for a  pups before I was even born! I had 11 brothers and sisters, and I was the only one to gets a plane ride all the way to Cali!

Now, how I got my name is a little embarrassing. Ma is a big fan of this show here in the States called Supernatural. It's about two brothers who hunt down evil (ie: demons, vampires, werewolves, spirits, etc.).  Well, a reoccurring character in the show is named Ruby. Ruby is a smart*ss demon.  So Ma thought, "yes! Let me name my new dog after a smart*ss demon!"...really folks, woman's got a problem...

10. What is your absolute favorite food?

Now, I have lots of favorite foods. I would have to say that my absolute favorite has to be Freeze Dried Chicken. I don't know what makes it so tasty my furends, butts it is out of this world!!
