CHORES

Last week Mom brought a bunch of
boxes in the house...
WOOHOO  what Kitty doesn't love a box?

Of course they were calling my name and oh
what wonderful smell mail....

Mom told me the smell mail came from my
Grandpa's house...I stayed with theM a month in in 2006
when my peeps had our kitchen remodeled.
THESE WERE OLD NEW SMELLS
I HELPED UNTIL THAT PLASTIC BAG
CAME ALIVE.  I DON'T LIKE CRINKLING
PLASTIC...

GRANDPA HAD A VERY UNIQUE FILING SYSTEM
EVERYTHING IN CARDBOARD BOXES IN NO
PARTICULAR ORDER AND 99.9% OF IT NEEDS CAREFUL
INSPECTION.

MOM HAS LOTS OF
STACKS FOR
1.RECYCLING
2. SHREDDING
3. FILING
IN A REAL FILING CABINET
YES THAT IS WHAT IS IN THIS BOX
THAT I'VE BEEN SITTING ON FOR 87 HOURS.
NEVER FEAR MOM I'LL KEEP
MY SHARP LASER EYES ON IT FOR YOU

MOM HAS 4 MORE BOXES TO
SORT THROUGH. SHE HAS DECIDED TO
TAKE A FEW DAYS OFF TO COMPLETE
THIS CHORE.
I'M NOT HAPPY BUT
SHE SAYS SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO DO THINGS WE DON'T WANT TO DO
SO GOOD BUDDIES I'LL SEE YOU ON
SATURDAY AUGUST 3.

  1. I hope you get to keep the box for a while - at least until you are allowed to blog again!

  2. Well at least you have lots and lots of boxes to keep you busy while your mom does her chores Madi. By the way, you taught Adam and Georgia about laser eyes and now they are teaching Bo. It's getting a little weird around our house right now.

  4. Oh Madi, I think you should be extra nice to your Mom just now. I have noticed that Gail gets grumpy when helping her Mum sort through her Dads papers to fill in his tax form. And his papers are quite well organised.

  5. You will be a great snoopervisor for your mom Madi. Be sure to give her lots of purrs and cuddles. Mum remembers when she did this at her mum's house, there were so many things she brought out of drawers that held funny or sweet or sad memories.

  9. You look like you are being a good supervisor and making sure your mom does the job right. Part of being a supervisor is sometimes sacrificing things like fun to get a job done. We will see you when you are back. Hope you don't get any paper cuts! Lee and Phod

  10. That doesn't sound like much fun for Mom, Madi. But at least you will have some good boxes for playtime. Maybe Mom will find a winning lottery ticket in those files.

  14. Madi, my LLS, I am terrified of crinkling plastic bags! I run for the hills when I hear one. Minchie is just the opposite. He comes running and wants to chew on them.

    Enjoy those boxes!

    Hugs, Laila, your LLS

  18. I don't like having to sort through my own old papers let alone someone elses. I think taking some time off to concentrate on the project is a good idea.

  36. An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
