DA BIRD CAT TEASE...

THE RAT-A-TAT-TATING AT MY DOOR YESTERDAY
WAS THE A/C SERVICE MAN!!
I HID UNDER THE BED.

*****

IS REALLY NOT A BIRD IT IS JUST
A FEW BIRD FEVVERS THAT WHIRL
AND WHIZ BY MY HEAD WITH MOM'S HELP

SOME TIMES THEY INTRIGUE ME BUT MOST
TIMES I DON'T PAY THEM ANY MIND
UNTIL...
THEY MAKE ONE TOO MANY PASSES IN MY FACE
AT WHICH TIME I GIVE THEM THE
STINKY EYE WHILE WARNING THEM,
I HAVE FANGS AND DAGGERS AND....

I WILL HURT YOU
TRUTH BE TOLD I'M A LOVER NOT A FIGHTER SO
WHEN THREATS FAIL...I TURN MY BACK 'CAUSE WE ALL KNOW IF YOU CAN'T SEE, IT AIN'T THERE!!

EXCELLENT NEWS
MY PEEPS MET WITH THE MAN WHO WILL
BE IN CHARGE OF THE ESTATE SALE AT MY
GRAND PEEP'S HOUSE.
MOM WAS THRILLED TO LEARN HE ALSO
INCLUDES CLOTHES IN THE SALE.
(MOM THOUGHT SHE HAD ANOTHER WEEK'S WORK CLEANING OUT CLOSETS)

AFTER TOMORROW WHEN MOM

  5. Good idea to hide UTB whenever those repairmen are around.
Your feathers are lucky Madi, when we threaten them and they don't listen we proceed to chew on them until they holler "uncle". MOL!

That is really good news on the estate sale, the less work for your mom the better.

PS from Gail - so glad that at least one aspect of the estate sale might be a bit simpler than anticipated.

  7. Just be careful. Sometimes when you can't see things, they sneak up on you...just sayin'.

Glad the estate sale seems stressfree...so far.

  8. Oh those feather wands are brilliant aren't they, Dylan used to love his. Although, his favourite thing was playing with the humans with a pen. Every once in a while he would lunge for it and almost take their finger down to the bone - it was suprising the amount of pleasure he derived from this.....

  10. That is a very lucky set of fevvers. His relatives, we're afraid, aren't so lucky. Hee hee.

  11. Nobody can resist Da Bird! (We don't blame you for hiding from the a/c man. We believe in stranger danger, too.)

Glad to hear that the estate sale will handle everything. It's so much easier to take care of it all at once than bit by bit. The estate process is stressful and sad enough without extra work.

  16. Good news for your mom; yay!

We don't have Da Bird, but we have something similar, or had. It never really caught our interest, but that might have been because our human wasn't manipulating it properly! :-)

  33. Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.
