MYSTERY DOOR

I'm allowed to wonder freely about the inside of the house; however, there are two doors that are always closed.
Today I'd like to take you on a tour of

 Mystery Door 1
Behind this door lies a feline jungle gym
Short story is our house doesn't have an attic so
several years ago the peeps added a room above our back porch that serves as an attic

It is not air conditioned which is why the door stays closed.
The computer room is on the other side of this door.  Every so
often when it is cooler mom leaves the door open.
I LOVE THIS ROOM
I HAVE A WINDOW PERCH

THERE ARE GOOBS (scientific word meaning a lot)
of things to climb on and sniff
This is me playing Queen of the Sewing Chest
From atop the sewing chest I rediscovered
a little feline gym of course
Mom slow poke did not get a picture

The door marked no kitty zone
leads in to the access to the a crawl space in the roof.
It is also a no human zone, it is blocked off too!!
Fall means I get to rediscover all the nooks and crannies
of this room.....and my perch also looks out on the bird feeders.

  2. We have a number of no kitty/ no human zones in the upstairs area of our house! It is one of those high pitches roofs here, which is why we have so many.

  3. We didn't know you had Mystery Doors! (reminds Mom of her board game: Myster Date) It must be great fun to re-explore these areas every time they get opened up. Have a great time, Madi.
XOXO from your main mancat, Prancer Pie.

  6. We have some mystery doors, too! One leads to the thing that makes air air hot and cool. One leads to a closet where our extra cat food and things are stored. And one leads to the pantry full of food! One of the cats who came before was diabetic and constantly hungry, and he broke into the pantry so much the door had to be barred, and now our treats are hidden in there. Your doors look like they hide better adventures than ours do.

  10. Hi Madi!
I have two doors in my home that are resticted with 'No puggy zone' signes and they are the bathroom and the closet (which also has the heating system in) I can only go in to the bathroom when my Pawrents are with me, otherwise it is kept closed.
I hope you have some freedom to roam about now its cooler!

  16. That sounds like the room I would like to visit. I'm not allowed on our attic, but there are treasures and trashures, it's like a doggy-wonderland. Maybe the mystic dor in your house will be open on Halloween? Keep an eye on it... Have a great Monday!

  24. Madi, we think the best rooms are those that we don't get to go into very often. Like we don't get to go down the basement much...so when we do, it's so much fun!

  34. We really like your feline jungle gym Madi, there are endless possibilities for climbing and wild jumps. We don't care for closed doors either but we whine only when mama is behind a closed door. Your birdie TV is fabulous.
