FUNNY FELINE

MOM MESSED UP BIG TIME SHE FORGOT TODAY
WAS THIS MOMENT, SEE BEAUTIFUL!!
SHE IS IN BIG TROUBLE.

***************************

SEVERAL DAYS LAST WEEK I FOUND MADI SITTING
IN THE PANTRY JUST STARING.
ANY TIME I TRIED TO LOOK SHE'D LEAVE
UNFORTUNATELY MADI IS TOO INTRIGUED
WITH ANY CLOSED DOOR.
THE WHITE BOX SHE IS SITTING BESIDE
IS MY BATTERY STORAGE BOX.

FINALLY I DISCOVERED WHAT SHE WAS LOOKING AT
THE HUGE RUBBER BAND I HAD AROUND THE BOX BROKE.  SHE WAS TRYING TO GET TO ONE END SHOWING UNDER THE BOX.
AFTER I SHOWED HER WHAT IT WAS,
SHE LOST INTEREST.
AS PER NORM WITH CATS, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE JOURNEY  NOT THE DESTINATION.

  3. We agree with Goose. It loses its allure after you get it. However, there looks to be some pretty interesting things for a kitteh to study in that pantry. I hope you get a better look next time!
XOXO from your main mancat, Prancer Pie.

  6. I LOVE rubber bands! Sadly, my human won't let me have them - she says they are not good for kitties. :-(

  7. I shall think more about the journey... I usually can't wait to get to the destination though :P

  8. Our dear Tahoe would have gone bonkers with the 'rubber'!!! She loves playing with them, Grabs 'em, and totes 'em around the house, growling, like she's caught the biggest mouse ever!!!

  9. BOL funny Madi. We like the journey and the destination and even more so if it involves squirrels. Have a fabulous Friday.

  22. Madi our Mom won't let us have rubber bands, we dont know why? Is she afraid of getting snapped with one in the middle of the night?

  24. Hmm. The journey not the destination? Let me think a bit more about that. True, I guess if we're talking about a ramble in some nice countryside. But less so if its a drive to the pet treat shop.
    Toodle pip!

PS Gail say I am being too literal….

  25. I can't believe she didn't think the rubber band was fun. What is funner is hold it tight, let go, and then she says ouch!

  26. I think I would've lost interest too, there's nothing more mysterious then that thing you can't quite get. Once you've got it, its all over

  30. You are a funny feline indeed, I must say you are a cute little cat, just sat looking at an elastic band for days to figure out how to catch it and when your Momma helps you capture it you don't want to know, that's funny, it does show that the hunt is better than the capture by far! 32. I know those feels Madi I was also staring staring staring at the wall, but would not go after it. After all it is about the alert and getting Mom to do your bidding right!

  35. We think Brian is on to something - you were wanting to let Mom know she needed to get a new band for that box - right?

So how are the crochet lessons going, Madi?

  37. We like mysteries. That could have been a wiggly worm or a ribbon like snake hiding under the box. It could have been the tail of a dangerous beasty. Or maybe a one of our silly mice that got away. But now that we know it just a rubbery band we are bored.

  40. The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought you have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
