HAPPY THANKSGIVING and update

HUGS
MADI AND MOM
Mom here:
My son in law is making excellent progress.
Long story short he had a stoke on Sunday.
He does not have any underlying problems to cause a stroke.
Over the last few weeks he has had a horrible cough due to allergies. All the severe coughing caused a tear in his carotid artery which caused a clot.
Thanks to excellent medical attention at his local hospital and then being transferred  to another excellent facility with more expertise in strokes.  The last few days he has gone from not being able to talk and having no feeling on his right side to talking yesterday. And today  he regained feeling on his right side and actually walking with the PT.  We are thankful for each and every small blessing w his progress and for you prayers.

  4. Mom Kim here - so very sorry to hear the news about the stroke but so very happy to hear of your son-in-laws's great progress. Me'n the B-bratz send our prayers and power of the paw to you all.

On a side note - over 15 years ago, I use to work with a woman who had a stroke on the job. The progress your s-i-l has made sounds like the progress she made. Even tho I have changed departments, I still see her at work - even now you can't tell anything ever happened and she never had another stroke. I pray the same for your s-i-l.Mom Kim
