Feline Facts

The Science of Cats

Law of cat inertia:
A cat at rest will tend to remain at rest, unless acted upon by some outside force---such as the opening of a cat food container.

Second Law of energy Conservation:
Cats also know that energy can only be stored by a lot of napping

  14. I believe it is the same for dogs as well, Madi. Napping is a must and movement should only be done when the pantry door, a can or a bag is opened in the kitchen.

  16. I wonder if someone lit up the night sky with a picture of a large can opener and the amplified sound of a can opener coming from it - if all the cats in the world would look up at the same time? Can openers have special powers indeed! :)
