Tuesday BFFs Tale

I'm pretty sure mom has complained mentioned once or twice about me not being a lap
cat and yada yada yada Milky-Way (RIP) was always in her lap ...Toto the Doxie was always by her side in her chair...
Well here is the rest of the tale.

In this picture, I'm sitting right by Mom's feet.
I, Madi, never let either of my peeps get too far out of my sight. Many times during the day I check on them and MANY more times during the day
they bother check on me.
We three are like peas in a pod...we don't crowd each other but we travel side by side through
life.
THE END
Hugs Madi

  3. It's exactly as it should be, Madi. Purrfect!
Our Mommy checks on us incessantly. She must be a bored woman. MOL!

  4. I guess it is part of a pets life, always to be compared with a much loved predecessor. Sounds to me like you and your Mom have an entirely wonderful relationship. Now as it happens I like sitting on Gail's lap and she sometimes complains about that, saying I am really to big to be a lap dog and why don't I do as Hamish did and just lay beside her.
There's no pleasing some people is there?

  7. Pierre and Ashton do that, too, Madi. Pierre is the only one of us who is willing to ever sit in the head peep's lap... and that's only occasionally.

  8. We all sit in Mom's lap....sometimes we try to do it at the same time....that usually ends up in smacky paw!

  12. your furs look amazing in those sunbeams and good for you staying close.. baby leaves the room, she prefers to sleep alone, but Jake moves from room to room, he is a people pet... he is to big and HOT to lay on me except on the coldest days.. but Daddy lets him lay on him any old time...

  15. Well Putter Jeans idea of checking on us is to come sit on one of our chests while we are reclining.

As I said before she also has this thing about licking her daddy's head. YUK. I don't let her do that to me.

  16. We both like to snuggle right next to our pawrents. We are a little big for lap dogs but we do drape part of our bodies across their laps sometimes.

  20. Madi, you are missing out on lots of love and attention by not being a lap cat!
I love being a Lap Dog, 'cause Mom has nice claws, I mean nails to scratch behind my ears or my tummy! I am in Nirvana of happiness. Course, this can only happen in the big Lazy Boy chair or the chaise lounge, I am 65 lbs. BOL
    Your BFFF,

  21. Madi, sometimes it's nice to be close and not on top of. I love to cuddle right on top of Mamma's face or neck and she complains I am too close. So maybe I'll need a lesson from you in proximity.

  22. I think your way is the best way, Madi. I am not a cuddler or snuggler either but I am always nearby my Ma and Daddy-dog...just in case they are in need of a helping paw.

  23. Bilbo is right there with you Madi...as long as the pawrents are doing what they are suppose to be doing, there is no need for crowding them!

  24. Madi we are exactly like that with our Mom and she with us. IF she hasn't heard us around in awhile, she'll go looking making sure we're all safe and sound. Sometimes we come and check her out just to say "hi".

  33. We always like it when our mama sits hear a sunpuddle. We are not lap kitties either, not a one of us. Cindi and Adam will sit beside Mama, Gloria will sit nearby and Spooky and the gang are not the sitting inside type. Georgia will sit on mama's legs if she has them propped up but never on her lap. We keep a close eye on every thing our peeps do.
