Zack Friends.....Forever: Dog Daze

When I discovered pet blogs in 2008, it opened
an entirely new world for me. The first pet blogger I met was Ms. Kit from Dog  Daze
and her Beautiful Labradors,
This is the header for their blog.

Buddy the black knight,
Sassy...well Sassy is just Sassy
Zack the patriarch of the family

Ms. Kit from Dog Daze was my blog mentor.
She gently encourage me to try blogging and was always there to help me....
Today I was humbled when Ms. Kit asked me to help her on this difficult day at Dog Daze.
Ms. Kit sent me what she wanted to post
but could not.
Dear Friends,
Today we made the most compassionate, and most difficult decision a pet owner ever has to make. We allowed our vet to help Zack peacefully cross the Rainbow Bridge, while I held him in my arms.
Run free, sweet boy, and thank you for being our wonderful companion for 13 years.
Our hearts are broken.
David and Kit, Buddy and Sassy.

REST In Peace Handsome Friend
Dog Daze rescued Zack when he was 2...that was the
first day of the best 13 years of his life...

Zany
Adorable Lab smile that could light a room
Constant companion to his Pack
King of his Hill

You and your pack made me laugh for 3 years.
I loved reading about your cross country journeys in your
RV aka hair mobile...according to Ms. Kit.

Run free and I hope there are a ton of tennis balls over
The Rainbow Bridge.

They don't blog anymore...please feel free
to leave loving words of comfort here on our blog.
This post will be up until Wednesday.

This post comes with loving and healing
hugs from your Best Feline Friend Furever,
Madi(son) D. Diva Cougar Cat and Mom

  9. "No matter how close we are to another person, few human relationships are as free from strife, disagreement, and frustration as is the relationship you have with a good dog. Few human beings give of themselves to another as a dog gives of itself. I also suspect that we wish-consciously or unconsciously- that we were as innocent as they are, and they make us yearn for a place where innocence is universal and where the meanness, the betrayals, and the cruelties of this world are unknown."
