I NEED BAIL MONEY
SERIOUSLY!!!
The peeps had an annual checkup on the furnace on
Tuesday...The furnace was fine.......BUTT it
appears it is time for duct work to be cleaned. Last time it was done was BM (before me/Madi). A gigantic octopus
will come to our house between 10 am and Noon today. It has a gazillion sucky things which will put over all the air vents in the house to suck out the dust then the ducts will be sanitized. NORMALLY when there is stuff going on, I'm sequestered in one room. BUT this thing will be in EVERY room...and we think the front door will have to be open too. Mom has a large
large kennel* thingie to put me in so I'm safe. I will have my
litter box, food, water and a blankie...it looks like a jail
but I will be safe!! Mom will be near by and she is
going to cover the thingie* with a sheet so I can't see it
but I will hear it. WE are hoping it isn't as scary as we think.
Of course there will be pictures. So we might be
MIA part of the morning tomorrow.

Have you ever tasted smoked octopus Madi? Not bad...but really tough. You will show 'em...YOU can be tough too. That I know...you survived mayorship for this long, you'll survive the dust suckin' monster.

ReplyDeleteOh now Madi, that sounds all very scary but at least the Mom is looking out for you during that process. Hopefully you don't have to stay in jail too long. Sounds like quite a job to clean those ducts. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, sounds like a very noisy Friday! But all that noise will leave you with some great air to breathe. Hope it all gets taken care of quickly. Can you ask Mom for some headphones or maybe some earplugs?

Uhoh....this sounds serious....a giant octopus? EEEEK......my Mom and Dad have NEVER had an octopus here to do our DUCKS. Our DUCKS are probably full of dust.....Double EEEEEK. Can't wait for photos.

Oh Madi, Ima keep my fingers crossed for you! That sounds like something that would drive me crazy, WHICH is why we haven't done it yet. I will have to leave for the day if CH thinks we need to get that done!!! I am pretty sure our "DUCKS" (thank you Sammy) are full of all kinds of junk!!!

ReplyDeleteWe just had our ducts worked on, we had a small leak. Hubby did HVAC in the past so that helps. :) Sounds like your mom has a small condo for you in times like this. :) Happy weekend to your and your peeps!
