Highland Games in honor of Kyla

Raz and I are all toasty warm and ready to watch the Highland Games...

IN HONOR OF
Dear sweet Kyla was given a very scary evil C prognosis recently...
Being a Scottie she decided she wanted to be in charge she wanted to have a Highland Games Pawty...with the help of a lot of her friends....today is the day.
Let the Games Begin!!!

In honor of Kyla's bravery, I told Mom I wanted to pawticipate
in as many games as I could.
Our friend Sammy at One Spoiled Cat is hosting
the Highland Pole toss officially known as Caber Toss.
Mom made me a Caber....as they say necessity is the Mother of Invention.
She wrapped her Swiffer handle with tartan color red and green ribbons. I concentrated looked at it like she was crazy very hard...grabbed it between
my paws and off it went.  I was so fast there were no photos.
MOL
My K9 buds the Doods over at
Murphy's Law and Stanley Rules are hosting
Aroooooooo Ball.  The rules were to play ball
any and every where.  That was a
Piece of Cake I can do that on one of my beds.

Tug of Bean Challenge...
I'm in that too....there will be photos after the contest.

Next up is Misaki's Sword Dancing contest.
Mom could not find a sword so she used an arrow with tartan ribbons

Highland Hammer Throw
I was asked to provide my vital stats for the games.

Name, age and weight: Madi(son) D. Cat, 12 years 7 months, 10.75 lb
Hammer type: petite ball peen decorated with tartan red and green ribbons

As you can see, I threw it to mom.  Thank goodness she caught it otherwise I'd have been in big trouble.

My alter ego Buttons will be over at Mollie and Alfie's
hoping not to burst the critters with her daggers.

Kyla darling thank you for such a lovely idea we are in awe of your bravery.
Hugs Madi and Mom

  6. I guessed it that you will wear the same cool tartan scarf like Raz and you look fabulous! I totally like your swiffer-caber, that's a darned good idea, you can toss it and while you have fun you can clean the house... think that's a revolutionary way to do housework.
