MONDAY MEOW MEWS

I have bone to pick with the PEEPS...
For the last 3 years my cat tree has resided in the dining room.  I saw no need for change..well except for the occasional move from one side of the room to the other.

2011

2012
2013

On October 4, 2014...it was moved without prior approval by me....
Mind you I'm not saying I don't like it here in BUTT
the burning question is
W H Y mess with purrfection?

Well the peeps bought new dining room chairs.
Which are not as bulky as the old chairs. They added the extension to the table so that
all 6 chairs now fit....thus necessitating ($10.00 word required for this post) the move of my tree

I wonder if the new chairs will be good for napping like the old one below?

IF YOU THINK I LOOK HAPPY,

  1. Our paws ARE NOT UP! Can't believe your tree was moved WITHOUT your permission AND it looks like it's behind a door!

Those new chairs, though attractive, don't look as comfy as the old ones. What's the hidden message from your pawrents here......hmmmmmm.

  2. Those chairs do not look at all comfortable. I would be demanding cushions. Diva-friendly cushions indeed.

  3. I think your cat tree needs to be right by a window! Humans don't watch Bird TV, but kitties do!

  4. Yes we agree. it should be by the window so you can watch Bird TV. Have a marvellous Monday.
    Best wishes Molly

  6. Moved without your purrmission, outrageous behaviour. Thinks this calls for some claws action !

  7. You totally need a window by your cat tree, Madi. What's with the colorful chairs at the new table? Did your humans get a discount because the colors don't match?

  8. Well I keep my paw down , but my hopeless mom-person raises her hand and say´s the table and the chairs looks LOVELY !

    XOXO

  9. it is a wonder you can even find your tree with all those moves. I think it was worth it though, the chairs look amazing and i love the way the sun is making colors around them... waiting to see the first foto of you in one of the colored chairs. your fur should look good against all or any of them

  10. How dare they move your tree without asking YOU? The table and chairs DO look nice though :)

  11. Oh Madi, that is just horrible that they moved your tree just for some darn chairs. Move the chairs for heavens sake. So we vote the tree goes back to it's place. Have a wonderful Monday.

  12. Sometimes humans do things without consulting us and the result is always one big mess! I mean the tree should definitely be near a window!!! However, I can see the dining table and chairs are a bit smart and deserve not to be sharing the space with something as awesome as your tree. They would be totally overshadowed mol xox

  13. I'd better observe you more before I raise my hand. Kitties can be deceptive about being happy sometimes Madi.

I like the chairs Mom. Just saying Madi, not taking sides that they moved your tree.

  14. same here, they removed my pop-up castle from the office....I'm still speechless.. but the color of the new chairs is great! wow!

  15. THIS is an Abomination .($0.87 word). AN absolute ABOMINATION... Do your peeps not REALIZE that they are messing with the MAYOR of Blogville... and her pawsonal TREE? We believe that the Blogville Pawlice Dept. should issue them like 87 TICKETS fur this.
Your TREE should be returned to its PAWper PAWsition and they can move that table and Lovely New Chairs... Somewhere Else...
ABOMINATION we say. NOT to be tolerated.

  16. Well Madi, I don't know what to say about your peeps moving your cat tree but those chairs are darling!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Oh that moving things sure gets on your nerves!

  18. Madi, you must admit, with the table leaf in and the cheery new chairs, the cat tree was just in the wrong spot. Think how you now have a new vantage point upstairs to keep an eye on the squirrel or birds! With the new cushions on the new chairs, I am sure you will find a good nap spot! :)
    Hugs and nose taps,

  30. I love the new diningroom chairs, what nice pops of color. I am sure your Mom could put a nice cushion /pillow on one for you. I don't know what to do about the tree- maybe she should put an addition on the diningroom to fit it in. http://15andmeowing.com

  31. This new dining room chairs are pretty cool, Madi. But we agree - moving your cat tree without asking your purrmission was an egregious error. BUT maybe the new spot will end up being better!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hmmm Miss Madi, I am not sure that the new kitchen arrangement is kitty aproved. Stopped by Angel Greta's today :) Can't wait for the next part of the Mayoral race :)

  33. Madi, we don't understand why your tree was moved. It looks like there's plenty of room in the dining room. And if there's not...then maybe your mom should move a couple of those chairs out. You come first!

  34. Oh gurlfuriend!!! WTF??!!! That just ain't right!!!! Why do the peeps feel the need to mess with purrfection anyhu?! Wells, no, you don't look happy AT ALL, that's fursure! Well, maybe this will result in some extra boxes for you or something? I would demand REMUNERATION (Ma's $10 word!! ☺) for this atrocity!!!
Ooooo, can't waits for the townhall meetin'!! I hears there will be drinkies!!!! bol

  35. All 4 of my paws are on the ground. This is not worthy of a paw raise. Your tree had such a good view of your yard! My mom said she loves the color of your chairs. I told her that is not what this post is about.

  36. We want to know if your pawrents often have 4 guests to require the table to be that big all the time? We vote that the tree should not have been moved.

  37. The NERVE of those humans, making changes without your approval!!
