TALES OF (snow) FREAKS AND CARD COUNT #4

It has been a tad chilly,
so I bedded down for a short winter nap...
on the peeps bed.

When much to my surprise, I arose to find a

SNOW FREAK...
I shook my head in hopes of it being a dream but
no it was still there.
How did it get in my house and tied to my stair rail?

I headed into my Sis and BIL's bedroom to find
2 MORE hanging from the drawers.
I told mom I just knew Sis and BIL would be
freaked out by the Snow Freaks staring at them.
I was sure the were escapees from the
Snow Freak Hill in O hi O. Nope they aren't.
Crazy mom found these 3 little Freaks in a
bag of Christmas decorations.  She forget she had them.

This is one of mom's favorite decorations.
She ordered this from Avon at least
20 years ago. The Santa Candle sits in a stack of
presents.  Of course we never ever light it.
Mom always puts this in Sis's room 'cause she knows Sis loves it.

As of Wednesday 12/17/14

  1. We were spared the Christmas decorations this year due to kittens Preslee and Prudence. Mom assures us the crazy stuff comes back out next year, though!

  3. Beds are some of the warmest spots in the house. The human bedroom is actually a few degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Score! Looks like you're going to win the Christmas Card race for sure again this year, Madi.

  11. We are lucky that our Mom has gotten a bit on the lazy side about getting all those decorations out. But we had best say this quietly because you never know what she might do. That tall Santa is very nice.

  28. Hello Cecilia!
I've spent time studying English in England years ago.
However, with the need to work and raise my daughter almost alone, I did not have time to practice.
Currently I watch many movies without subtitles, listen to the music and try to translate them into my language (portuguese) and then I confer. I study English grammar and try to read publications in English whenever I can.
Also I encouraging my teenage daughter to study English since a little girl. In the future she will exchange student and need to have a good vocabulary at least.
Loved your email. I am grateful for your notes.
    Thanks so much!
