SATURDAY PHOTO HUNT

SATURDAY PHOTO HUNT:

PLEASE CLICK HERE TO FIND THE LIST OF SATURDAY PHOTO HUNT WORDS
TODAY'S WORD IS

B O O K S

Everyone in this house loves books...

but I especially love

Madi and Mom  Books

When we began blogging in June 2009,

Mom was worried she wouldn't have anything to say......

8 books, 87,000 pages and 87 million pictures
later...it is obvious she found her voice!!

She uses Blog2Print.  We have been very satisfied

with each book. In order to save money to feed

me  she does not print the pages in color and

we do not print the comments. The books are

glossy paperback not hardback.

Mom turns our blog into a book every 6 months.

Why? Because Blog2Print will only print 1,500

pictures at a time. MOL it is shameful how many

photos mom has of me.....but then I am a Diva.

If you have more questions about Blog2Print,

leave us a comment or click here to go to Blog2Print

website.

This moment, See Beautiful, FALL FLOWERS

I, Madi's Mom, am happy to be joining

 Sugar our host for

At this moment, I see beautiful in bits and pieces of my sweet, precious Madi.  I'd like to share them with you.
Madi teases a lot and talks big but deep down
she is all soft and mushy and makes us laugh daily.

Madi's ears are as soft as velvet and so warm...

Once when I was a little girl my Aunt told me every freckle you have meant you had been kissed by angels...
I kiss Madi's nose every chance I get..and usually her
whiskers make me sneeze.
Her eyes are very expressive I love her sleepy/stinky eyes
and her wide open big green cat eyes staring at me with
kitty love....we often exchange blinks which is a cat's
way of say I love your

Every so often I'm lucky enough to get quite a tongue
licking from her sand paper tongue...I just love how that feels
on my hand.

To this day I don't know how she keeps her white tummy so white and so soft...there must be magic potions on that sandpaper tongue.

Every morning she greets me with her tail flying high.  As she passes by me, she ALWAYS slows down so I can gently hold her tail as it passes through my hand.  Yet another way of saying good  morning beautiful...to each other

Jackson Galaxy recently said domestic cats are the only feline species who can hold their tail vertically!
Madi's dad and I spoil her rotten and we know it...but we love
every fluffy hair from the tip of her very long tail to the freckles on her pink nose.....

Yes indeed at this moment, I see beautiful

thanks to my precious Madi...

Today we are joining Madi's long time gal pal Dory from Dory's Backyard for Fall Flower Friday

Dory and Sugar thank you for being such

great hostesses

Sincerely,

Madi's mom aka the old gray mare

TALE 2

My peeps abandoned me on November 8 and 9...without my PRIOR Approval, I might add.  They went to visit my human sis and her hubby. They had a fine trip. Along the way they saw some interesting sights.

WARNING BIRD ALERT BELOW!!

*
While driving along Hwy.70 East..mom noticed a huge
black patch just ahead in field...all of a sudden the patch began to
rise off the ground all at once...it was a flock/gaggle of
at least 87 zillion birds. Thankfully she had a camera out.
This picture isn't showing all of them but OMCs Dad
said there must have been thousands of them.  They saw
the land and lift off twice.  They said they have never seen
this many birds at one time.

Next they saw a cotton field.  It looked like snow.   All of the cotton had been picked and baled.  The peeps have seen the fields before but never seen it baled.

They saw  lots of gorgeous fall colors
They thought this cloud formation with the sun
was especially unusual
They had a delicious early birthday celebration for my BIL
at Parrott's on 11th Street in Morehead City.
They gave it 10 stars

However, when they walked in the door they reeked of nastiness like I have never smelled.  It appears Harley,
my sis and bil's cat, was especially fond of Mom on this trip.
He sat in her lap A LOT...(I'll never hear the end of that).
Harley loved snuggling in Mom's fleece coat.
Yep mom let the enemy sleep in her coat and get
his mancat odors all over it...

I hope and purr she washes it a gazillion times
so I don't have to smell it ever again.
Mom thinks Harley looks adorable.
FYI: for those seeing Harley for the first time...
he is a Cornish Rex kitty.
