Words of Wisdom for the Male species....

Dear male friends it is I, Madi, here to offer you some very, very
impawtant information.  On Saturday, February 21, the resident
Male Dad of Casa de Madi, discovered once again the
rules of the house change and evolve by the hour.

You see he had  no clue one of his jobs was to be Mom's
Man-in-waiting: The job description of this position is
to thoroughly look mom over from head to toe before they go out.
Saturday afternoon I was sitting up on the dresser when I heard Mom call bellow to Dad.
YOU ARE FIRED!
I cannot believe you let me leave the house like this.....
MOL MOL they went out to eat and ran several errands!!
I could hardly wait see what Dad didn't SEE

I had to jump down to check things out.

Poor dad failed to notice that mom left the house
wearing two different earrings.... exhibit one below!!!!

OMCs I must defend my Dad....
I innocently asked, Well Mom how come you didn't notice
the earrings were different?
1.They are different shapes, and different textures.
2. Didn't you see them when you brushed your teeth.
Then she gave me a stinky eye look that made me
retreat.
Her excuse was the earrings were in her drawer but had been placed by the incorrect mate....and she failed to notice.
I suggested:
Neither Dad nor I wear earrings so that was her fault.
Then she gave me another stern stinky eye...for fear of starvation I
once again retreated.
SHE SAID DAD should have noticed, she said she always makes sure his clothes match etc, (much to his dismay).

SO GUYZ OF ALL SPECIES I LEAVE YOU WITH THIS BIT OF WISDOM:
ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION
THE TINIEST DETAILS CAN GET YOU INTO A BIG
POT OF
T R O U B L E

RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED
MADI AND DAD

  2. BOL! How very 1980's of your mom Miss Madi! Mom says our Auntie Kym used to purposefully wear mismatched earrings back then.

  3. Once my human flew across country wearing different athletic shoes and didn't notice... and also forgot to pack her other shoes! Even worse, she did not have her boyfriend to blame it on because he was already at the destination.

  4. Gail thinks your Dad is totally to blame for this dreadfully occurrence. However I, as the man/dog of the household, feel the blame lies with Mom. Given the way Gail often looks when she leaves the house, especially when taking me for a walk, I would hate to be held responsible for her appearance.
Oh and by the way, isn't it a bit insulting to dogs that our humans so often 'dress down' for taking us for a walk. You think they should be making an extra effort, like they were going on a special date or something, wouldn't you?
Sorry I forgot, you are a cat Madi and maybe don't understand these things…

  7. Oh dear, that doesn't sound like a fun time at your house Madi. Poor Dad. We just don't know what to say. Anyway, you all have a better day today.

  8. hahahahaha...dad's always are in the big pot of trouble. My dad is totally unqualified for that job, he said nothing as my mom left my crib with spaghettisauce on her cheek...she noticed that in the car and first she thought it's a huge scratch... but sadly that was after she visited 3 stores with that weird make up :o)

  10. Bawhahahahahahahahhahaahha! This is something my mom (and dad) would totally do, too!

Did I ever tell you about the time my assistant went shopping during her lunch hour and returned to work with her dress inside out and NO ONE TOLD HER! She had been trying clothes on at lunch and somehow managed to not notice her dress was inside out. Now, this one wasn't my dad's fault, but still pretty funny!

  11. LOL BOL MOL.... we are all laughing because i have done that several times in the past. i went to work not once but twice with mismatched earrings and no one said a word until lunch time. when i asked why they said they thought i wanted them that way... i also in the past wore matching shoes, but one was brown the other black.
bob never notices anything. i had a big thing of hair standing straight up and he swore he never saw it.

  12. LOL. Maybe you can start a new trend wearing mismatched earrings. Teenagers wear mismatched socks all the time now a days.

  13. hehehe, I have to defend dad as I did not notice that the Redneck had moved a 65 inch TV out of the middle of the floor in the kitchen. AND it was 87 jillion times larger than those 2 earrings!!!

  14. Well now..... we just do NOT know WHAT to say about this... Pawhaps SOMEBUDDY in your house needs a BAG to put over their head...

  15. BOL - Dad takes the blame here a lot too. Like the time Mom went to a very important business dinner with him and realized on the way in that she had a black shoe on one foot and a navy one of the other:(

  19. Haha Madi I have to check the resident male human's clothes EVERY DAY because he is color blind and claims he can't remember what goes with what. And I have to laugh with your mama because once I showed up at exercise class in 2 different shoes. These things happen to us all - unfortunately.

  20. Us men, we just don't notice the details do we? Well unless there is something food related. Your mom must be a trendsetter, that's all!

  21. Bahahahahaha!!! Madi, tell your mom that if anyone HAD noticed and said something to her, she should have just said, "Oh, that, well, it's National Mismatch Day, duh.". Crisis averted. But of course, she would still have had to scold the husband for his oversight.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Madi your reason for not noticing is that you are not as tall as Mom and therefore cannot see her ears..bahahahaha...but our Dad would do the same thing with our Mom.

  23. It's always dads fault and will always be dads fault- PERRRIOD

  27. I must say your Dad deserved the stink eye for failure to notice that. You didn't deserve the stink eye though.

  28. Number 1 Mistake: expecting a male person to notice different earrings. They think you are making a fashion statement and don't dare correct!
My husband mailed to checks off and didn't notice they had no postage or return addresses on them! I just wanted him to sign the checks! That's all!!
Good help is hard to come by! Especially if it's male! LOL

  30. It's lucky your dad was there to take the blame Madi, otherwise she would have blamed you.

  31. Opps! We have to tell you that years ago when mom was working on graveyard shift she went to work with you shirt on inside out! and no one said a word

  33. MOL MOL! That is too funny. Next time tell your dad to use the line, "Honey, I didn't notice because they look so good together, I thought you did it on purpose!"

  34. Hey Madi!
Wow, that's too funny! Your poor dad is in the doghouse fur sure. BOL/MOL My dad once left the house with no underwear on beneath his shorts. Oh, BWAR HAR HAR but Mom refused to take the blame for that one. Tell your Mom I said maybe she'll start a new fashion craze.

  36. BOL! Our mom could never count on dad to make sure she is all put together. She is totally on her own.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh Madi! The human male species is totally unobservant. Your mom shouldn't expect him to notice things like her earrings. She's lucky she wasn't wearing 2 different colored shoes or something. He would've missed that too. :)

  38. BOL!!!!! OMD/OMC!!!! Wells, don't you thinks that your Moms is partly to blames TRUSTING the man peep to NOTICE these thingies??? They have tunnel vision...TV, food, cars, tools, food, duct tape, food...they just say, 'you look GREAT' to gets the Moms out the door!!
Good thingie her dress wasn't tucked inside her undies.....☺
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥

  39. That is a tough one Madi, you have to tread lightly with the Moms. They are so sensitive and that stink eye from them is enough to send me running. It could be a whole new fashion statement. People probably thought she was really cool. Well maybe, anyway I hope all is well now. One time Mommy took my Daddy to the Dr. and when they got there, she realized he had two different color shoes on. They had a good laugh.
