MondayMews: Walking with a Wolfie

Hidey ho Furiends of Madi.....thank goodness
she only visited me via Pizap...I've never met a
cat in the Furs!!!
First I'd like to thank mom of Madi for being my
dog walking nanny.  I must tell you all
I was a tad hesitant on our first walk but
dang the Old Gray Mare did a fantastic job of taking me where I wanted to go.

Note from the Old Gray Mare!!   This was the first time  I have walked a dog in 37 years.
(For those new to the blog..our first family pet was a might mini Dachshund named Toto!!)
Kasi was used to seeing me in the yard.  The first day I went in her house she was a tad confused.
It took about 20 minutes of her walking between the den and kitchen.  I was sitting on the floor each
time she got closer to me.  Finally she approached me with her head down, I assume so I could attach the leash.  Off we went on day one in the rain.  These photos  are from day two
(11/12/15) sunny and 73 degrees!!  This afternoon walk is good for me and good for Kasi!!

  21. Kasi has a pretty fur pattern. I wish I could say it was so long since I walked a dog, but I watch my niece's Jack Russel sometimes.

  32. It looks more like Kasi walked you instead of you walking her. :)

  33. Walking a dog is like riding a bike, it all comes back as soon as you want to go and they want to finish reading pee mail! Haha!

  34. Kasi is very cute and we know she appreciates your time with her. What does Kasi think about cats?
She looks like a herding breed. Have you ever been herded, Madi?

P.S. Tegan thanks you for the most thoughtful 'Welcome' card. We shall post of it soon, if it survives a 5 month old terrier!
