OH MY CATS I rec'd a most unexpected surprise... RECENTLY, Not Earl*, our mailman
came to our door with 3 packages. One is from Margaret Mae, my Pug gal pal. She drew my name in Oreo's Christmas exchange. Mom says I MUST need to wait until at least next week to open it.
One came with RESTRICTIONS from a snow freak instructions:
Do not open until at least 12/24/15.
HOWEVER, THIS IS ONE IS A 'JUST BECAUSE PRESSIE' THE BEST KIND NO restrictions, instructions or Mom rules! Just for me, full of stuffs only an itty bitty kitty would love!!
It is from longest and oldest (not age but years almost 7 yrs.) we've known each other, Dory and her Bros. When I met Dory, she had one bro...Bilbo...but crazy mom kept writing his name Bilbro...
because Mom worked with a professor named Bilbro. Mom finally saw the error and
apologized 87 million times!!
* Not Earl story. For nearly 20 years my peeps thought our VERY EXCELLENT mailman's name was Earl. One week he was not around so Dad asked the substitute if Earl was on vacation. The substitute replied, do you mean Tony! When Dad came in the house he said
guess what, the mailman's name is Not Earl...it is Tony. So now they call him
Not Earl when speaking of him here in the house. They still think he looks more like an
Earl than a Tony

ps....ironically my brother's nickname is Butch. I was literally LOL with the speak phone and butch turning into which.

ReplyDeleteI like the name Bilbro... it says that Bilbo is Dory's bro... that's brilliant! My grampy always though the name of his cousins husband is Kuno... but as he visited him on his 60th. birthday he read on a card that the name of this guy is Manfred... oh man....:o)

Not Earl has been leaving packages here for weeks now, but Mom says they are all for the little bipeds. Seems their humans have stuff delivered here so those snooping eyes don't find them:)
