Flower Friday is....

h

 with DORY

We are thrilled to report all the daffodil bulbs planted in October 2014 have popped through and starting to bloom.  However they aren't blooming all at once. MOL

We have one (volunteer popped up many years ago all by itself)  Eastern Redbud
it has light purple flowers followed by green heart shaped leaves

Below is our Forest Pansy Redbud.  It was planted fall 2015 too.
The flowers are a darker purple.  According to the information on this lovely little
tree, after  the blooms are gone it will have red heart shaped leaves this spring
which will turn green.  We are excited to see them.

My pet store, Pet Supplies Plus sent me a $5.00 coupon for my
birthday.  Mom bought me the "Dynamite" catnip toy below.
I can wrestle with it
 sleep on it
and I can use it to hold up my head so I can keep an eye on Mom

  9. I love daffodils, they are always THE SIGN that spring is on the way :o) and they look like stirred eggs somehow lol. You got Dynamite? Oh boy that's great... I have a lot of plans in my bad idea catalog what we could do with that eggs-plosive stuff :o)

  26. You get to play with dynamite!?!? That is SO COOL! I'm fairly sure that's on the huge list of things I'm not allowed to have. Enjoy it for both of us, OK?
Your Spring is ahead of ours! Our Redbud Trees are just starting to bud up (we have 3 of them) and our neighbors' daffodils are just starting. Mom planted daffodils and tulips about 10 years ago, I'm told, and someone named Bambi ate all of them. She said Bambi is cute like me, so she couldn't get upset. (Mental note: It pays to be cute.)
Have a great afternoon. I'm going to ask about the dynamite, just to be sure!
    Yours sincerely,
    Margaret Thatcher
