Mom here: I have loved coffee for as long as I can remember. Currently the brands above are
in my pantry..(not stored on the bed).  Sometimes I add cinnamon to my coffee.

My Dad used to jokingly say,
my Mom put it in my bottle when I was a baby...No true but I will admit I come from a long
long line of coffee drinkers.  No family gathering is complete with a a pot of coffee brewing.
No matter the time of year.

The perfect mug makes the coffee taste better too.  Here are a few of our favorite coffee mugs
l-r our bird mugs, Grove Park Inn mugs, Tryon Palace and The Swag mugs
and Mom and Dad mugs our Daughter and sil gave us for Christmas last year.

Of course the perfect mug and the perfect coffee is complete without the perfect coffee maker and
grinder.

  2. You would love it here at my Mom and Dad's they have multiple types of coffee to brew AND a keurig that my brother bought them for Christmas and keeps stocked for them. I am the only non-coffee drinker in the family but I do love my tea!

  5. My human can't drink coffee without putting a lot of stuff in it - she says she prefers coffee as a flavoring more than as an actual drink on its own! This is blasphemy, I hear, to most coffee drinkers, and it is true, she would be much better off if she could just enjoy it black - purer, and way fewer calories.

  6. Our Mom has never been a coffee lover except for coffee ice cream. Looks like your Mom has all the right ingredients for good coffee.

  9. I am not a coffee drinker and I am becoming concerned that I am missing something! I do drink fluffy Starbucks concoctions like their White Chocolate Mocha in the winter. CH shares your love of coffee and has just bought a pour over thingie, he usually orders a pour over at coffee places. Those are some very nice mugs... I like the Mom and Dad ones.

  10. Our pawrents drink coffee in the morning then have coffee break at 3pm. They are weird cuz they announce, "Time for coffee break"! Mom says she prefers her drinks cold and fizzy but made the switch to coffee. We are wondering if your mom is giving new meaning to starting the morning with coffee in bed?

    Your Pals,

  16. My Mom doesn't drink much coffee now because of a health issue BUTTTT one of her earliest fun memories is of her Mom allowing her to have some "coffee" at breakfast - it was 99% warm milk, and 1% coffee with a healthy dose of sugar. Mom said she remembers feeling like a grown up with her "cuppa" !!!

    Hugs, Sammy
