IN MOM'S LAP...YEP THIS DIVA BECAME A LAP CAT AFTER 14 YEARS I DECIDED I WAS SAFEST SITTING IN MOM'S LAP.
WE WERE SEQUESTERED IN MY BLOG OFFICE. THESE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN
WITH MOM'S iPad up close but I am
100% in her lap and WAS I PURRING
and I'm wondering why it took me so long
to discover the joys of laps and will I continue
this bizarre behavior?

When they demo guy went to lunch, I jumped down to enjoy some sun puddle time
to take a nap
I had the most wonderful dream that Princess Leah
invited me to stay with her until all the mess was over...just in case it
was real...PL leave a light on I'll be their in two shakes of a cat's tail
Here is what the peeps master bath looks like now shower wall gone
floor gone...MOL MOL MOL their toilet is in the
driveway. MOL MOL If they go out there to use it I will be mortified.

Madi is feeling quite abused and put upon sequestered here in the very room she stays in every day (with the door open). The men are in and out all day. There is just no way she is getting free reign during the day. I'm in here with her 95% of the time. She has threatened to look for a new home with one of YOU. If you she calls, please ignore! She is fine!!! LOL LOL LOL
Her curiosity has gotten the best of her. She escaped confinement for the first time yesterday morning as I was coming back in to sit with her. I literally tried to grab the 'tiger' by the tail. I missed. When she got downstairs, she saw a strange man hid behind the couch. I got her heart shaped Salmon and Cranberry treats (wink wink Easy) lickety split Madi's love of treats and food won.
What a mess! It looks kinda familiar too . . .
ReplyDeleteOur Jezebel turned into a lap kitty when she hit about 14/15 - she'd never really liked laps, but she started then.
Madi, I don't blame you for being upset that intruders are invading your house, tearing it apart and making loud noises! I mean, who WOULDN'T be upset!
ReplyDeletegreat that your mom made you a diva-cave till the demo-guys are gone... the toilet reminds me of something. one of our neighbors placed it on the boardwalk together with other construction stuff to dispose it the next day... and guess what? someone used it over night for B.I.G. business ... ewwww!!!!

PeeS A toilet on the driveway?Mmmmm, that's okay until its raining 'cos the peeps'll get very wet when they use it, possibly a bit more thought about this feature or the remodeling is needed!

ReplyDeleteI bet that made your mom very happy when you laid on her lap. I am not a lap cat. I might sit there for 2 minutes but that's it. I do like cuddles though.

ReplyDeletegood thing you had those treats. i am like Madi, i stay in this room with door open every day most of the day, but the days we had to keep it closed for same reasons as yours, i hated that closed door. can't wait to see the rest of the story on demo.... hope Madi had a good plane trip... she and Leah are perfect together

Gosh Madi - now that you've tried Mom's lap - you will probably become a lapaholic like the rest of us......especially in the winter when you need a nice heating pad. Moms are great for that. As for all the noise - best stay out of the way until the big project is done.......!

We were wondering what was going on. We got a text from Madi and we know Flippy doesn't text. Maybe she has a secret phone with her? You know Warren Jeffs has secret phones in prison with him maybe she is using the same system? Mom said to tell you that when she and dad went to the Verizon store to change companies she saw a new, modern Flippy! Who knew??
