Tuesday Train Tale

This is what is in the box...note at the arrow...what is says so I guess I won't get
a box for keeps but just for a little while

Dad ordered this train.  They are not mass produced
so he had to wait  87 years for it to be made. OMCs is it heavy and is he a happy camper
He took it over to Mr. Jerry's house.  Mr. Jerry is a retired electrical engineer.
He is programming Dad's train to run on the sound systems he has set up.
Boy would I like to be a fly on the wall when these train brains run their new trains.
Because I know you are interested...I did a wee kitty interview with Dad about the train.
Dad give us a the cliff note version of what this train is all about!!

From the lips of Dad:  It is a model of a Southern Pacific SD9 (early 1950's era).
It is diesel and has a complete sound system built in to reproduce all the sounds of a real
engine including all the bells and whistles.

Below are two of Dad's favorite things toGETher!!

  3. How exciting! My human loves trains, big ones and toy ones... if we had the space, she would have a whole room for a train set and spend bunches of money making it awesome.

  8. Your dad is having a very good Christmas this year! Oh no, that can't be right about the packaging. Don't they know all boxes are the property of the resident feline - or in cricket's case, resident recycler...

  18. Madi, you let him spend money on stuff that isn't for YOU!?! WHAT!?! That's breaking the rules...lemme see......yep, says right here on The Cat Contract, item #7, paragraph 2, "All extra green papers not needed for human and cat food, treats, toys, beds, etc. must be used to provide enrichment activities for the cat, such as but not limited to: cat condos, luxurious cat beds, expensive cat toys, expensive cat foods and treats, cat spa days, and any other expensive item that the cat deems necessary." Tell him to take it back, Madi...he's breaking the contract!
