Blogville Spring Break at the Park

Mom and I will be hosting our portion of Spring  Break from a local
Amusement park.

Okay I might as well tell you my mom is obsessed with Grease the Movie!

She has seen Grease 87 x 1,000,000 times.
She loves every minute of it.   However, she loves the
last scene of the Rydell High School Seniors at the carnival.

It is exactly what the party in her head sees for our Blogville Spring Break Road trip to

There are all kinds of rides and fun things to do at Pullen Park.

Here is a sneak peep eye of the 'round round.. that is what my human sis
used to call the Merry go Round or Carousel

As you can see from the below plaque it has been there for a long time.
About 5 years ago the park was closed for a total renovation. They did
a beautiful job.

We hope you will enjoy a day at Pullen Park with us during Spring Break.

If you would like to attend this fun event send us a good
picture of you either standing or sitting via email to
candb214ATattDOTnet.
Please put Park in subjet line
Mom will take care of everything else.
ABSOLUTE deadlion for submitting a photo is
April 17.

The 'puter they wanted had to be ordered.  It will arrive on 4/7/17.  At that time they will make

  13. Oops, I messed up! Years ago, I traveled from Michigan to Washington DC with friends, who were huge 'Grease' fans, and they played the soundtrack over and over. Did not turn me into a huge 'Grease' fan, but the music is good! AND my niece appeared in a high-school play version of 'Grease' last year...fun!

Oh, and she measured my cyst again today (early again) and it looks like it is the same size. One last thing . . . the little wheelie house is going to the shop next week. You will NOT believe what is being replaced this time . . . are you sitting down???? The axle!!

  29. We just sent our pictures. The Mom grew up in Meridian, MS and she loved going to Higland Park to ride the Dentzel Carousel there and get a snow cone. She lived close enough to walk.
