Wednesday Words to my Sun puddle

I know you see a gazillion photos of me here; however, I must tell you each
one you see is a new one.  Today's was taken early March before DST.
Any day my puddle visits I am an excellent hostess I sit with it and we chat.

Dear Sun puddle
Let me count the ways I love thee!!!

1. You light up my world
2. You are reliable
3. You come in some many shapes and forms
4. You are entertaining when you  rest in fun places
5. You challenge my itty bitty kitty brain by making me figure out how to absorb your rays
6. You move about the room like the fog on little kitty feets

7. Your warmth goes all the way to my heart and warms my soul
8. You give me vitamins that keep me fit
9. You make shadows that are quite unique
10. I especially love they extra ears and body you sometimes give me...
I just wish mom would feed me extra.

Alas I must report the time has come for mom to pull down the
blind over my skylight.  There will be no more sunpuddles here until
the fall...it gets too hot up stairs with the blind up.

I have had to resort to squeezing my lush tush in this sun puddle which is
right beside my loo!!

Dear Sun puddle thank you for visiting you are always welcomed
Hugs Madi

  2. Wow, you are very sun-eloquent. And it sure makes you work, doesn't it?? Having to fit into those odd shaped patches.... Do you think the sun is teasing you?

  3. I bet after such a wonderful love letter to the sunpuddles one of them will stay with you even with the closed blinds... it will become your sun-pet-puddle...

  4. I know how much you love your sunpuddles, Madi. Bummer about the blind over the skylight.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh don't talk too loudly... Mr Sun has decided to show his face over here today...despite the snow on! Don't want to frighten him off...Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  7. I know you will miss having the sun come through that skylight. But, southern gals don't need to pant either Madi.

  8. OhMyGosh Madi, too funny about your sun puddle producers getting put out of commission! We have two skylights and we had them tinted. It works great but I am sure not as well as those cell shades. We have pleated shades on all our windows except the sun porch and we love them! Those are definitely 10 good reasons to love sun puddles! Good Morning... we have no sun again today! BUT we did get much needed rain yesterday!

  9. so sorry your skylight is closed for the summer. I love the first shot, the shape of your sunpuddle is what I call Sun Art... and of course your Body is always ART to me... Jake and I and his daddy feel the same way you do about sun puddles

  12. The top sunpuddle picture looks like an outline of a cat's head looking to the left. We thought it was a very creative picture. Madi sat in a sunpuddle that looked like a cat.

  17. We think if you Climbed UP... as you LOVE DOING... and POKED A HOLE in that shade... a Beam of Sunshine would come through and form a Delightful Puddle fur you to enjoy. THAT's what WE think. It really IS.

  18. We thought you were in a pyramid in the first photo--channeling your inner Ancient Egyptian cat! MOL! We love the way that sun puddle moves around.

  19. Sun puddles are the best! Bentley loves going outside and going "belly up" in the grass while he absorbs some rays. ☺

  23. We love our sun puddles too. We think it's cruel for your mom to close the shade so you have to go elsewhere for your daily dose of sun.

  25. What do you do on a cloudy day, Madi? You better tell Mom you NEED your sun puddles no matter how hot they get..
