Flower Friday

Oh and their strawberry pie was off the charts excellent.
We don't have Big Boys in NC anymore...this photo was taken
last summer while the peeps were at the Blogville Awesome Retreat

  11. Beautiful blooms! Mom remembers Big Boy. Here they were called JB's and in Indiana where she used to live it was called Azars.

  15. Beautiful gardens, Madi. Mom remembers Big Boy - there was one in her home town. It was a favority family stop for Saturday night out. They had the best pies too.

    I think I might have been to Cameron Village, not sure. lol My hubby is all about burgers so we will need to visit Big Boy. :)

  18. I miss Big Boy's! We haven't had them here for 30 years ... but I've had them a few times elsewhere when I was traveling (still awhile back). Looking gorgeous, Madi!

  19. I remember that strawberry pie from college! Don't think we had Big Boy in Northern VA. Made a strawberry pie last year--good, but not the same! Love all the flowers.

  21. I'm not sure if we had these 'out west' when I was growing up in Colorado, but the statue looks familiar. Way back in the far recesses of my mind.
