TUESDAY CAT TALE: Good and Bad

As you can see, I'm resting up after a most fun filled and eventful SPRING BREAK.
Mom and I thank all the hosts for their hard work and cre8tivity.
And we thank all the pawticipants for their pictures and everyone who joined us
by reading or stopping by to have fun with us.
Sincerely Madi and Mom

IN SPITE OF THE ABOVE GOOD DEED
I
WANT....A  NEW HOME!!

WHY?

Last Friday morning Mom got grabby out of the blue.  You see I had
a hair ball, duh I'm a cat, not on the carpet.   However, I did sashay through it.  She didn't want it on the new carpet so she grabbed me like a sack of potatoes,  stuck my paws under the

F A U C E T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What in the world was she thinking I don't do water. Then she hollered for dad to come help her trim my nails. Geez I thought spa days were supposed to be relaxing.

I repeat:

WANTED....ONE NEW HOME!!

  6. oh my, call the animal rights people, claw trimming and bathing in water? how mean.. I love your perch in the window and now I want to know how it is anchored safely there, does the window pull down on it? enquiring minds want to know. it is perfect for sun bathing or watching squirrel/bird TV

  7. You sure have a great dangle going on from your perch Madi. We can't believe your mom man handled you like that and forced your paws into the water. That definitely calls for demerits.

  8. OMD - this is not right that the peeps are ganging up on you, Madi - and really for no good reason! Thank goodness for your perch to relax you after all of the drama!

HAAAAA, I don't get to see very much tail twitching at my house since, both my kitties have no tail. well actually Silly Dilly has a couple inches worth, that can go round and round at times. thanx

  11. Oy vey, Madi! How is any self-respecting cat supposed to respond to that kind of treatment? Is the new perch a way for the humans to say they are sorry for that grabby/water incident?

  14. Have you reported your mom for cruelty? Washing your paw over a simple hairball?? We agree with your shunning. They have to learn the hard way. Mom gave us an ENTIRE bath yesterday and we are pretty miffed too. ☺

  15. Uh oh. Why do I get the feeling your Mom moved your perch because you've been using the table to look outside (I remember this from a couple past posts) and she prefers you not be on the kitchen table? Humans. Don't they know everything belongs to us ... even new carpets? I hope you "fixed" that new carpet, Madi! I love the butt shot ... your tail is one-of-a-kind gorgeous! ~Bear Cat

  21. We call that hangover a dangle - you do it very well, Madi. Misty knows all about getting her feet washed, and it does not make her the least bit happy. We don't know much about hairballs, but we know we leave lots of our hair on the floor - maybe we need to make it into a ball? BOL.

  28. I DO like your hangover on your newly placed hangout! Ick to hairballs but you were good to not hork it up ON the carpet and sashaying through it was certainly a goof. That is one good display of the back of disrespect. I am sure you have forgiven your Mom by now???

  29. Oh Madi, you do look mad in that last pic. I hope treats were given and plenty of them to make up for wet paws and a claw nail shortening.

  30. I'm sure your mom has made it all up to you. :) I trim Fox's nails and he gets an occasional bath in the kitchen sink with a towel under him. :)
I will be asking hubby to make a window seat for Fox. :)
    hugs,
    Marie
