Berry Flower Friday and a Freaky Friend

We got nuttin' blooming here at Madi Manor but mom did find some berry purrty
berries and two purple posies for Rosy's Flower Friday.

Before mom retired from Physics she rec'd this crazy bird at a gift exchange.
It is a physics toy. You put a bowl of water in front of him, give him an itty bitty

kitty whap upside his plastic head tap.
Eventually his keeps moving forward until he goes beak first into the water.
Physicists are a fun bunch for sure

  4. All of our flowers are about gone too. I don't think we have any berries to see. You all have a fine Friday.

  5. Our flowers are shot but we do have some berries that the birds are still enjoying. Madi, you are looking so fine playing with the birdie! Good Morning!

  6. The guys on the Big Bang show are physicists, they would love that bird. I have some of those purple flowers. I like them. I think I'll get some more last year. They required very little care, which was good because you know I was down and out for about 2 months.

    Happy weekend, take care.

  7. Our mom says she had one of those toys way back when she was a kid but hadn't seen any around recently. It is kind of fascinating how they just keep bobbing away as long as there is a bowl of water for them to drink.

  10. and now you have a physics cat toy... woo hoo.. I did not know MOM was in the physics business. I am with Da Boyz mama on the glazed eyes.. but people who do that are really smart so you are one lucky feline to have your mama

  11. What a cute toy that is!!! Our Mom is not into science but she loves gizmos like that. And that is a lovely collection of photos for Flower Friday. We have some berries in our yard - our juniper tree is bursting all out with them. Mom has decided the tree HAS to go because we keep eating the berries. They are not toxic but they CAN cause stomach upset and vomiting. The tree isn't looking that great anyway, but the birdies will mis it.

  16. I don't think I have ever met a physicist, but glad to know they are lots of fun. LOL!

  17. I love toys like this - and learning how/why they work. Physics?!? Huh. I loved physics but physics didn't love me. I love all the intricate relationships - the formulas and numbers - learning how electricity, etc works. I got an A, but it was hard-earned. My passion was astronomy - but after taking physics, I figured that might be better left as a hobby :)
