Mom and I are seniors and aren't good a following rules. Here are 7 things we two seniors. We'd love to share this award with EVERYONE... so grab the badge and start writing.
Madi:
1. I am not nor was I ever a lap kitty
2. In 2005, Mom and Dad went to Alaska. I gained 2 lbs in 11 days. Needless to say
I did not let their absence get in the way of eating.
3. My paws have never touched the ground at least not after I was 2 months old.
4. I'm spoiled (I know that is a surprise)
5. I do not sit in anyone's lap!! Much to the dismay of Mom
(the first family kitty was 100% lap kitty)
6.I was a wild child when the peeps first brought me home.**
7.Once I was lost for 2 hours...not to worry though I knew exactly where I was...sleeping
peacefully in Mom and Dad's closet.
Mom:
1. I'm proud to say I can drive a stick shift
2. I was Senior Class Marshall in High School
(this means I kept order in the midst of chaos...good training for being Mom to a Diva Cat)
3. When I was about 3 years old I cut my own hair and I cut the hair of
the family Collie, Lady, and Lady's puppies. Luckily no humans or puppies were harmed!!
4. I took accordion lessons for 3 years.
5.When I was 5, I was caught in the act of eating a stick of butter.
6. I was also described as a wild child**
7. At 2 years old I was a cover girl on the Co-operative Exchange magazine.

(I know you've never heard of it. LOL My mom worked for the company.
I was on the Easter edition holding baby chicks.
hahaha that was a mighty fine hiding place Diva Madi ;O))) we totally agree with your mom to handle a stick can be essential ... but it sadly will not work when you rent a small truck with column gear shift (we had no clue that such rides still exist) LOL

I to can drive a stick shift and even the one on the column, but rather have automatic. lots of things we did not know about both of you, love the Cover Girl with chicks and I do remember the 'episode' of the missing Madi Diva.. on nooo on the butter. I would have been in the loaf of bread.. lol

Oh, and thank you for choosing a photo of me for the Diva Slippers and Wizards group. (Ghostwriter has been so busy and tired lately with work and allergies and driving to Tonawanda to visit Oma.)

ReplyDeleteMadi, your Mom is a cover girl:) Mom says eating a stick of butter sounds good to her, as she is a REAL butter lover, not the fake stuff. And when she was little, it was quite common to find her sitting in the pantry munching on unpeeled raw onions!!! To this day she loves onions prepared any way at all.
