Mom says I must tell you that this is 95% fiction
she doesn't own any Grease PJs but she'd like to.
She is always well groomed,
However, she has been known to have her iPad sitting to the left of the desktop
keyboard playing WWFs when she should be BLOGGING only.

Rosy, Arty and Jakey...we apologize for fake flowers.  It appears I also need to
place a want ad for a gardener too.

It was on this day in 1789, that Congress approved an Act for the establishment and support of lighthouse, beacons, buoys and public piers. In Celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the signing of the Act and the commissioning of the first Federal lighthouse, Congress passed a resolution which designated August 7, 1989 as National Lighthouse Day.  Read all about it here

  4. Girl Friday, huh? Well, good luck with that. Ahh, the light house thing makes dad long for life at the shore. With work things lately dad says they may end up heading back that way within the coming year. We'll see. Happy weekend, my friend.

  10. I think this is my favorite story you have told on final Friday fiction. I believed every word of it until your assistant informed us it is 95 percent fiction... good job to your assistant and I hope this means you will keep her

  12. We knew you wouldn't really want to replace your mom but it did make for a good story.

  13. Maybe your new assistant and I could take a course in Felinese together? I still want to learn!

  14. Madi, first, lovely hat! Good luck with your want ad. These things can be tricky.... Purrhaps it's best just to give your mom another chance.

  15. Madi, remember you would have to train a new assistant all over again!!! Better to try to work with the current one!

Hugs, your guy Raz and The Florida Furkids

  16. Oh, the re-training you might have to do! The headaches, the going over and over the same simple steps - you might need to use claws to get your "points" across. You are a brave one to request someone new! We're okay with our assistant and typist, though sometimes, she moves us from the computer chair so she can get to work. Doesn't she know it's OUR chair???

  18. Maybe your mom just needs a refresher course rather than start from scratch with a new Girl Friday.

  19. Fake news on nationsl tv ... now we have fake flowers. What next Madi? As for the lighthouse hop...if I remember, I'll join.

PeeEss...Any kind of flower is always ok with us!

  21. That was excellent! I am glad you re keeping your mom. XO

  22. We could probably post that same ad as the Momster does a lot of the same things, especially that WWF thing. Seems like it is always ON her iPad:)

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  23. OOH! Please send all applicants our way! Momma's so lazy she played an online game so much that she didn't finish a post for last Tuesday. Doesn't she know it's work first and then fun later?!? Well, we don't necessarily subscribe to that thinking ... but at least we're adorable thumbing our noses as it!

  24. Good assistants are had to find. Ours is pretty good. We could loan her out for a few kibbles

  25. Now after all these years I learned something new about you! I love lighthouses, too! There's just something about them that are really mysterious and beautiful.

  26. It is so hard to find good help these days. Our peeps need to realize that we deserve their undivided attention...unless we want to be left alone. MOL!
