Our mom love lantana. They are so colorful. We had lots of bangs around here on the 4th too but luckily nobody was scared by them. We just bark at the noise.
Thankfully our neighborhood was pretty quiet on the 4th. There were a few of the smaller firecrackers and such after dark. The big town fireworks were not too loud. Probably the wind was blowing the other way.
Madi, you and me both! I jumped outta my skin many times over the last few days; big pops or booms from nowhere! If I knew where Angel was hiding, I would have crawled in there with her!
madi.....we thinked wear we lived waz de onlee crazed place ta bee shootin off firez werkz in de broad day oh lite... like whoo de sam hillz even gonna SEE IT...ya noe ~~~~~~~ faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa♥♥☺☺
Looking good, Madi. The fools around here in years past have set off fireworks all afternoon and evening, into the night. Thankfully this year, it wasn't that obnoxious. We live next to a small courtyard - and that's where they set them off - WAY too close to my house for comfort!
Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^= Life is short, spend it with those who make you laugh “Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.” (Leo F. I love Lantana! We had a huge bush at our old house and it was gorgeous all summer long. I'm thinking of planting one here next year.

Lovely flowers. Some of our lantana are doing well, others not so well, and at least of the plants has disappeared???
ReplyDeleteBetter to get those booms during the day than at 3:00 a.m. like we did:( Go away, fireworks!!!

Sad that some people don't think of the dry conditions and shoot them off anyway. You look great, as always Madi. XO
ReplyDeleteLove flower 🌸 Friday!
ReplyDeleteWe agree that there are a lot of nutty humans. And not just because they set off fireworks during the day. :)
ReplyDeleteMadi we love your new look! We are keeping our paws crossed that the fireworks don't kick up over the weekend, we have had enough

Big firework booms around here too. Guess some humans got nothing better to spend their money on.
ReplyDeleteI hate fire crackers
ReplyDeleteGive the ol evil eye Madi.
We love lantanas. Mommy says we are lucky none of us mind fireworks, thank cat and dog because our neighbors set them off all the time.
ReplyDelete"Nutty" doesn't even begin to cover it!
