Queen of the West
Long and sleek....
A chance to ride on her would make my heart skip a beat.
Through the water she glides leaving ripples in the tide.
Proud and strong she glides with ease.
Traveling on her would be sweet

oooh what a fab photo of the queen and the diva.... yes it would be super sweet to ride on such a fab ship...the mama has such a ride in her dream box since 87 years ;O)

ReplyDeleteGreat poem! Imagine it would be super fun to take a riverboat trip - my Mom and Dad have talked about it before...maybe they'll do it yet. Angel Sammy's poem today has some photos from that riverboat trip Scouts took some years ago! You look mighty find up on that horse with Miss Kitty.....

That is a gorgeous steamboat! Your poem is very fitting for such a beautiful picture. Love the picture with you and Miss Kitty... only right that you should be pictured together.
