WE 2 seniors APOLOGIZE, but it is for a good cause.

 Mayor Arty has rented out the Blogville amusement park for us to pawty in this Memorial Day!!!  We hope you'll join us and do a post of you having fun at the park and then hop aboard a special Blog Hop to show all of Blogville how you spent the day!

 You can share a picture of yourself riding the rides, filling up on junk food or just enjoying the beautiful day outdoors!

After a day of fun, we will be setting up picnic tables and bringing in a couple of kegs of Premium Beef Beer! Abby Lab will be on hand to cook some nommy treats and Ruby will have her Margarita truck full of refreshing summer 'ritas!! We hope you'll join us for some Blogville BBQ  fun! Mama will be using some of the pictures we have on hand, but to make sure you are a part of the BBQ send us any picture and we'll make sure you have a seat at a picnic table! Pawfessor Jakey will be holding a refresher course on May 18th if your assistant needs help getting you to the park!

however, in his eyes I see a bit of

Madi here: just wanted to thank every buddy for their lovely get well wishes and purrs and hugs and licky kisses you sent to me.

Mom says I'm back to 100% like I was and that is good for a Senior Diva Cat!!

I'm eating and taking my meds and SLEEPING all the day long and every so often I get up to check on the peeps. 

Wordless Picture w Vet update

Yesterday Dr. Szabo gave her intestines a good exam.  He did not feel any masses but what he describes as ropy inflammation in them, IBD. They only way to be sure is an intestinal biopsy. We will not do that at 16 y.o Diva who already has compromised kidneys, anesthesia is not recommended.  Thus far (since 2017) with same symptoms the cortisone shot has calmed the aggravation associated with IBD.  Her eyes bright. He gave her another nausea shot and a cortisone shot (~6 week time release shot). She had several small meals yesterday. We three seniors continue one day at a  time living and loving. 
Madi here: Dr. Szabo said, "she is spunky"...at first I thought he said, "she is a monkey"..🙊🙈🙉


OH MY CATS MY WONDERFUL VET, DR. SZABO, IS OFF ON WEDNESDAY BUT GUESS WHAT HE JUST CALLED MOM FROM THE GOLF COURSE TO SEE HOW I WAS DOING!!!

Tuesday Tale and Tail

Speaking of meds and such...I had a wee set back over the weekend but
OEE (old eagle eyes) aka TOGM (the old gray mare) was quick to recognize the symptoms
of a wee bout of IBD.  She was able to get it under control until I could see my vet
yesterday morning.  I got a nausea and antibiotic injection.  OMCs my weight last visit was 6.6 yesterday it was 7.4 lb.  WooHoo.   He checked my kidney values too they were about a 1/10 a point higher than last check.  So we will keep on doing what we are doing.

10 am.. Tuesday 5/1/18 Unfortunately I'm going to have to go back
to the vet at 1PM.  My peeps came home to find that I had lost all my breakfast, twice, and
well Mom said, my box was disgusting....
