Funny Feline memories

I often see cartoons that remind me of the many wonderful and funny memories of Madi

She was good at hiding in plain sight

Yes we both often carried on conversations with Madi and she listened.
One of us often sang to her songs that were made up.

  2. Cute......David and I talk to Teddy all the time and he seems to be listening. He is also very good at hiding - one of his favorite games with his old humans!

  4. Loving memories sure are everywhere. Mom and dad talk to me every day, and they still- and this part makes me mad sometimes- give me voices and make me say things that I would never in a million years actually say. That top cartoon's a funny one since I only just discovered I can get inside a futon mom and dad just got. Dad searched high and low in our new place the other morning and found my tail sticking out. You have yourself a great weekend, and though I'm a couple of hours further east now we're still neighbors!

  6. Just yesterday, I couldn't find Pumpkin, the kitten. They do know how to stay out of sight. And I have conversations with all of them. Sometimes they listen, and sometimes they ignore me. You all have a super duper day.

  7. Socks had his very own song the Daddy made up for him, now it's Yin who gets the song. The humans talk to all of us and of course we understand them. Fen and Chi are also very good at getting the humans to understand what they want. We get them to interpret for the rest of us. Humans are a bit thick if you ask me. ~Scylla

  10. I think that Muffin must have been taking lessons from Madi. Muffin would always disappear on us. Usually found her asleep in the big bed under the covers. But the covers were not disturbed so you couldn't tell she was under there!

Such wonderful memories of our fur-kids.

  11. We talked with Little Bit all the time too. I'd often ask hubby if he was talking to me or Little Bit. Often it was Little Bit. Very fond memories. We sure miss that girl as you miss Madi.

Have a blessed day and weekend. Big hug. ♥

  12. I used to talk to Eric and Flynn all the time too and I am sure they understood me. I still talk to them when I am by their graves, and I always say goodnight to them.

  13. Last night I was watching a cat video of a man 'talking' to his cat -- he spoke another language and I thought cats are multilingual! It tickled me that the cat knew exactly what that man was saying while I did not. :)

Cute cartoons and of course you talked and sang songs to Madi... I just knew it :) We talked to Z all the time. I told her all the time how she was the best girl. Madi was/is a best girl, too ♥

  18. BOL - that happens here a lot too. Mom is always talking to us, and Dad will say, "What did you say?" BOL.

Mom really gets a big kick out of Pickles - some mornings she laughs right out loud and almost spills her tea:)

  23. Many things like you wrote about seem to be universal in the animal-lover community. The memories are always sweet as we carry the traditions on to whoever follows. Thinking fondly of Madi.
