ReplyDeleteAll the historic homes are so beautiful, but that green color on the first one isn't to our liking. It reminds Mom of a problem in our neighborhood when one family painted their house a hideous bilious mustard color. All paint colors have to approved by the association and are supposed to be "earth" tones. This house was painted without approval, and the immediate neighbors raised a lot of noise about it.

ReplyDeleteWhew! I thought I missed Dr. Seuss Day. As you can tell, I am playing catch up from my babysitting the grandbabies job. LOL! I love those houses. We used to have an area in Shreveport that had homes in that style.
