Personally I love the reflections on the left
Our neighbor has ligustrum planted along his fence.
Someone (here) loves playing with their extension clippers when they hang over
into our yard. And for fun the frame is because he loves anything with wheels.
We DO NOT LIKE the look or smell of Ligustrum hedges.
It smells horrible when in bloom
Some plants can really smell!

ReplyDeleteOh boy, now you've done it Cecilia- Dad got all excited when he saw the "Tools" in that photo. As it is he was going to Lowes today, but now I fear (as does his company credit card) he'll be returning with much more than what was originally intended. Thanks for that. ReplyDeletePrivet hedges are one of the bane of any asthmatic's existence let me tell you! In Sydney, during spring, the air is redolent with their stink and it really is overwhelming. Go, clipper man!!! I too love the dark shadow shot. YAM xx

ReplyDeleteI love the Ligustrum and the smell, but am probably allergic to the smell now, raised in Savannah they were on every property in the city as hedges.. bob has that same toy, but doesn't use it as much as he used to... he also loves anything with wheels
