Thoroughly Poetic Pictorial Thursday

Today we join Two  SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.

Here is today's pictorial inspiration

If on a houseboat I did live,
I would take a dive each day at five.
I'd surf the channels, (not on the TVee).
I would learn how to paddle a board,
while standing tall.
Each day the waterways
 would be my highway.
No more would I say...
oh me, oh my what a day.
No more snarls or brawls  along my way
just clear sailing all the day.
If on a houseboat I did live,
I would surely thrive

Hugs Cecilia

  3. I'd have to agree- there's something cool about the thought of living on a houseboat. Mom and dad went poking around a camper lot the other day, thinking about their retirement years to come and how they want to spend them. Very cute header graphics, too!

  4. Love your poem. The houseboat is beautiful but mom prefers to keep her feets on dry land.

  5. A most excellent poem! I could certainly be happy there and afloat if it was calm... :) I have had some wild boat floats!

  6. Oh what a wonderful poem.....it's a very tempting thing to think about living on a boat like this....and there are SO MANY in Amsterdam (Mom is SURE they actually saw THIS ONE!)....but practical? Not really - just fun to dream about!

  12. I love that houseboat and your poem is perfect. I would love to live on it, but it must have wi fi, electric and ac/heat... can't live without those.

  13. Very nicely done. Mom says that houseboat in the photo could tempt her, but she is not a lover of the water:)
