Nature Friday: Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium FFF Reminder

Hosted by my Niece Rosy, and her 2 brudders Arty and Jakey HERE

While we were visiting our kiddos and their kitties in early May we
This pretty fountain is located at the entrance

Seashells found on the N.C. beaches

Even at my advanced age...Seahorses still amaze
 And they dive too.
Top left lion fish
Top right drifters was listed on the wall by the tank.  They are a type of jelly fish
bottom left assorted fishes
bottom right stingray touchy/feely tank...no I didn't touch or feel

Turtles:  one on the right is a snapping turtle
bottom left N.C. Alligators
bottom right a 3D of a Hellbender aka N.C.'s Largest Salamander.
Angel Easy Rider ALWAYS made me laugh uncontrollably when he referred to something being as
dark as a Salamander's A$$.  Turns out he was correct it was so dark in their tank I
could not get a photo of the really critter.

U-352 makes for a wonderful habitat for the fishes...

Lots of laser eyes looking back at us.  Most of the aquarium is dark.
Thus the flash bulb and laser eyes

REMINDER Next Friday is FINAL FICTION FRIDAY

  12. beautiful aquarium, my mother loved seahorses, the river here used to be full of them, but humans killed them all off to make earings and necklaces and lamps. now there are none. I would like to see this one swim.

  13. Seahorses are DA BOMB! I highly recommend visiting The Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Illinois. It's fantastic, and right next door is a planetarium, so one can go underwater, then out into space!

Today I saw a Dutch vehicle that had a Florida plate on the back as well. It said RETIRED. He definitely was going slow enough!!
