RE: yesterday's Dryer Caper
Please, please, please tell all our bloggie Furiends the dryer photos were staged, and no kitty was harmed in the production. Mom and Dad are very careful, and I have no desire to snoopervise drying activities. Don’t want anyone worrying about me. 😻
Whew, it’s hot! When the doggos come back inside after potty breaks, I can feel the heat on their fur! 🔥
I’m not ashamed to admit, I’m doing absolutely nothing today! Mom says I do it very well, ha! 😹Hope you’re staying cool in NC.

We spend as little time outside as possible on the hot and humid and horrible days of summer. We are not summer lovers either.

It is HOT in Floridadeeedaaaaaaa! Not a fan of summer. Missouri is starting to look pretty good... I miss Fall! Walked the beach last night and it was gorgeous... hmmm. The beach walks or a fireplace crackling in Fall and Winter?????
We are so lucky that it doesn't get hot very often here in Northy North California. The hot summers are one thing I don't miss about Texas!
ReplyDeletewe are hibernating also, AC is where we choose to be. we just got a heat advisory for our town today from noon to 6 heat index will be 112... warning us to stay inside. they don't have to warn me.
ReplyDeletethanks to kats mom for letting us know they are very careful with the dryer. I LOVE Kat, Katnapping. so precious... i know abut the hot furs. Big Boy is black and absorbs heat like a sponge. he is hot to the touch when he comes in..
Angel Scribbles always tried to get in the dryer too. :) I agree, hot is HOT and I much prefer the AC.
ReplyDeleteIt's true; we cat lovers get a bit crazy when we see a cat near or in a dryer or washer, but know that Kat wasn't in any trouble. We are suffering through heat and humidity, but I luck out because I get to hang out at my air-conditioned office all day.
ReplyDeleteWe're hibernating here too as the temps climb near 90 with high humidity. A good day to stay inside and sew or crochet our mom says.

That card reminds me of the day I was casual teaching in Year 1. I was trying unsuccessfully to adjust the A/C when a child sidled up to me and quietly said, 'Ms V you've got the TV remote.

And Ma says with the big doggies, you do NOT want them usin' your litter box! PEE YEW! Or, at least that's what Ma says, I don't see a problem myself....I wish I had indoor poopie station! BOL!
